Novartis finalizes deal to make new heart drug widely available in England

England's national health system plans to make Novartis’ cholesterol-lowering drug Leqvio broadly available to people with heart disease, finalizing an agreement Tuesday with the Swiss pharmaceutical company that aims to use the therapy as a public health tool.
