Novartis Earnings Top; Swiss Drug Giant Edges Lower

Novartis (NVS) on Tuesday reported adjusted income of $1.41 per share on $12.17 billion in sales for its third quarter. In the year-earlier period, Novartis earnings were $1.32 per share on $12.78 billion in sales.
