Esperion's Cholesterol Combo Pill Cuts Bad Cholesterol 35%

A cholesterol pill being developed by Esperion Therapeutics of Ann Arbor, Mich., lowered levels of low-density lipoprotein, the "bad" cholesterol linked to heart attacks, by 35% on top of the highest tolerated statin drugs commonly used to treat cardiovascular disease.
