BioNTech now plans to produce 2 billion doses of its COVID-19 vaccine in 2021

Shares of BioNTech SE BNTX, +0.80% gained 0.9% in premarket trading on Monday after the company told investors that it nearly doubled its estimate for the amount of coronavirus vaccine it plans to produce in 2021.
