Biden executive order lifts ban on using march-in rights to lower drug costs

As part of an executive order issued last Friday marketed as promoting economic competition, President Joe Biden directed the government to pause a proposed rule from the Trump administration that would have prevented the use of so-called “march-in rights,” which have never been used before but hypothetically could lower prescription drug costs.
