Bavarian Nordic expands monkeypox vaccine deal with US and updates '22 sales figures — again

On the back of an expanded monkeypox vaccine deal with the US, Bavarian Nordic is boosting its 2022 sales forecast — for the third time in the last month.

BARDA has ordered an additional 500,000 liquid-frozen doses of the Danish company’s vaccine Jynneos, which covers both smallpox and monkeypox, for delivery this year. Alongside a previous order for 1.4 million doses placed back in 2020, this brings the US inventory to nearly 2 million doses.
