Alabama’s attorney general stood by his decision to not participate in the national opioid settlements, announcing Tuesday that the state has reached deals with Johnson & Johnson, Endo Pharmaceuticals and McKesson for about $276 million to resolve the state’s claims against them for exacerbating the opioid crisis.
