75-99 to plan - 125K
100-109 to plan - 175K
110 and above - 250K

Under 75 they give you 50K to keep you interested.

Base is around 150K

Not true. I made 476,000 calling on one Doctor. My base is 11.50 and I can only spend my expenses on my manager. I was a little short of quota this year so they gave me 400,000 like the guy above said to keep me interested.

Marketing does do a good job, they should, there are enough in the department to work on three products. Regardless of how much time they have, they always seem to be behind. The comp plan, the reimbursement, the lack of management, these issues have been here for years. Great talent has entered the doors of Zoll LifeVest, great talent has left, they loved the job, the product, but could not deal with the lack of respect, or keep up with the growth expectations with 1/2 or 1/4th the territory. This is the truth, nobody who had been with Zoll can dispute the facts!

Hey Buddy, you're partially correct. Many good people have come and gone. But your assessment of JW is completely off base. This yahoo has been around FOREVER and he is completely clueless in addition to being a pompus ass. The marketing is the worst that I have seen in any organization and Jason is one of the worst ever. It's right up Zoll's alley though to promote the incompetent or clueless and find away to get rid of anyone else. His craziness is a big part of what rested the mess that we live EVERY day!

ML didn't make decisions in a vacuum. The upper leadership has created this bizarre, makeshift company TOGETHER. The ONLY reason this company is still in business is because the product has no competitors and it does actually save lives. However, from an cultural, operational, and leadership point of view, it is an abject failure that would have been destroyed in a competitive environment. Unless and until they overhaul upper management and bring in NEW people with actual INDUSTRY experience, nothing will change. All the markers of failure (turnover, inefficiency, etc.) are here, yet they lack the perspective to recognize them as signs of failure. This is a hopeless place unless and until new people replace JW, DR, SB - just to name a few.
 






And yes, JW is the most condescending person I have ever heard speak to a group of people. I literally felt as though I had returned to elementary school the first time I heard him. He dismisses every concern raised in favor of doubling down on the company's weird, baseless logic.

ML listened to JW the most esp implementing this comp plan, and also named him the successor. JW in the mean time manages to convince others not to hire outside VP's who knows anything about CRM, Med devices, Cardiology and gets rid of the one potential threat for the president position (JP). JW could have easily made changes when he took over, but instead throws that onto mclean who clearly also thought it was bogus.

JW's an incompetent fraud- a bizaarre oddity and freakish seal pup. He cries like a little girl and can't own up to any responsibility.
 






This place is a mess. Been here less than a year. Regret signing offer. I'm actively looking like most people I spoke to. Too bad because great product but horrible leadership. My micromanaging RM now watches our expense report. I left pharma for a reason. Can't wait to say BYE BYE ZOLL!

Just wait until their cut your territory in half and still expect the exact same growth rate every 2 weeks. It only gets worse around here!
