Zepbound reps want to know.

This is my resentment. Ricks said “we are not promoting Zepbound. In fact, we told the sales force to service their current accounts.” Funny, I don’t remember being told to stop promoting. How exactly does a company beat their projections/goals for a quarter, but the sales force missed their goal by such a staggering amount? You cannot tell investors you beat goals, but tell the salesforce they missed it. Nothing from Shannon until she figured out how to spin it. It’s wrong and so unethical. Don’t forget to hit your 8 calls a day!

You forget that Lilly sells zepbound around the world, not just the US. They can miss their targets in the US and easily make up the numbers from worldwide sales. Zepbound is available in nearly all European, Asian and South American markets.

How can an organization be selling as rapidly as they can possibly manufacture (in the U.S.) and not hit its targets? Were goals set that were greater than Lilly could ever possibly expect to manufacture product. WTF kind of sense does that make?

Great sense if the company wants to avoid paying out bonuses.

This is exactly what happened. The goals that were set were above the amount that was manufactured and distributed. That is the issue.
