Your take on Phadia's culture?

Culture has been trying to change awhile, one down, with one other to go maybe they will make some headway. The way leadership works against each other is, well nevermind. Problem is the golden boy gets rewarded by the very people who know least about the truth of how he operates. Place is poison for professionals.

The circus is leaving town, tickets ares still avilalable. "Leaders" will no longer have safety nets. Stunts that fail will lead to a fall. Clowns are on notice...

Good news. What has been done to good people is inexcusable. Treatment has been cruel. There is one who does not know how to lead but he has authority which he has used in ways that do not fit how business works today. Send him back to the 1980's, give him another role, but do not put him in charge of developing management talent. A person he put in position of leading here needs to be watched. If DE had been able to practice his kind of leadership without all the hidden power plays things would be different today. Now there are people trained in this as a way of survival. Can they be found?

Well, M. Land passed a way a year or two ago, and the new CEO came in as a VP with big pharma experience. DK is getting ready to retire if not already retired.
It's time to change your approach to how your manage your territory and your approach to selling. All the Pharma lavish dinners and over spending on docs to buy their script business, killed the rest of us in diagnostics and med-surg. Can't even give out a pen now worrying about AdvaMed rules..

No, M. Land was coaching me from up above. His tactics, which are still widepread, have brought down Phadia/Pharmacia to the lowly level which it's at now.

Not only that, but anyone who adopted the DK model of dealing with subordinates needed to be weeded long ago. I believe if DE had brought in the right folks he probably knows from the past, the company would have done a far better job of managing its human resources since he arrived here. The people surrounding DK are salesmen. Outstanding salesmen who will stop at nothing to get what they want. They are for themselves. They are not leaders. When the only behavior that is rewarded is what fits the preconceived, 1990s idea, what can be expected?

Poor leadership will go bye, bye. Sleep well- in the bed- you made.

I hope so, because DE is an example of moral leadership, and DK's duo are not by any stretch of the imagination. People know this. With history being what it is - ah why bother. Good luck to DE.

How many $100 gift cards will it take to get the the docs to write a script? For example, to get the labs to switch to or stay with ImmunoCAP? Advice please!!! I'm desperate to know the tricks of the trade. Thanks. Newbie.

Michael Land was the downfall of Phadia and a few of his cronies i.e. TN and FM needed to take notice. RIP Michael . . . . . . . . . . you arrogant soul!

Inappropriate comment aside, Thomaso needs to stick with a strategy. We had one going a year, two years ago, others stole right out from under us as he focused on command and control and pissed people off in process. Can't stick with a strategic initiative.

Add to the above: threaten him in any way, especially in competence, and you will be fired. If I tightened my belt everytime I have seen that happen, I would be skinny now.

left hand right hand! LMAO. next employee survey, make sure to rate that one at a 10 or else we will be listening to the pillars of trust bs at the next nsm all over again. does anyone know where we can find the video montage of the new lab machine that was presented in maui. you know the one... the movie preview trailer. still can't decide if that was a joke or for real. in any case, it's all about appearances here. you've been forewarned.

Amen, brother or sister. NT flying around, talking to bigshots in appointments set by others, turning them off, blaming others, trust eroded, no sales, and the cycle continues.

You mean TN, right? Makes sense now. That's it. Seen how he has communicated with your contacts? Someone should pull all the files. Remember whose fault it always is though, when stuff gets delayed, back-burnered, etc. Strategy? What strategy?
