Novartis has true leadership and management. Is this a joke? Two words T R. Enough said.
Let me tell you what is a fact. - Paid his dues did He? He was a very average rep - very average manager and a bit of a joke as a NSM under Porto and basically they both ran Differin at the time into the ground when the product had virtually no competitive headwinds or managed care issues. A 2nd banana in US marketing never ran a brand nor was a brand lead in the US - then he went over to Europe with the US marketing launch programs and other peoples marketing ideas and ran around the Globe with basically other peoples work on a thumb drive. Then he Ran Australia for less than 18 months. A lot of other people did pay their dues in the US and now are at other companies actually growing what is our current and future competition. Brian is nothing more than an opportunist and a talking head. I agree with a previous post, give this 18 months and they will be back looking for yet another replacement. I agree with the previous post that this is a great example of how low this place is going we continue on downward spiral in the US. In 18 months you will be saying how Brian need to go as well. This place has no loyalty for people you all have been warned repeatedly .BF paid his dues and climbed the ladder the correct and well deserved way.

I assume you are talking about HA - he is part of the problem but he is also the guy that keeps putting these people in place and letting others below them get kicked out or they simply leave due to a now non winning environment here.BF will not be able to change that. In fact he is just a puppet for that administration. What magic do you think he will bring coming over from Europe? They do not have the Managed Care or payer environment that the US is now dealing with. It has been changing for over 5 years here. Constantly changing the leadership in Marketing and Sales is not going to be the answer. Bringing someone who had lower positions in the US and then spent time in Europe and in Australia is not the answer either.Brian is an asset to the company and to the position. Probably that fat goof in HR that put BF in here in the first place with HA the guy does not have a clue.Enough with the personal attacks. It's the environment that is toxic. TJ was a far better manager and person than TR ever was at Galderma. TR has no business being in management and was a joke at Galderma and is a joke at Novartis.
Who cares both are now at Novartis. Many of us are still stuck at this place with the constant turnover in sales and in marketing management. No wonder we keep getting are rear ends handed to us in the market place. Bringing some ass kisser who failed in the US then went over to Europe checking squares and kissing HA and AD buts is not going to fix what a mess the US Rx Business unit has become. I for one cannot wait to get out of this place and I should be able to this year. i would be happy to go over to one of the biologic company's or even to the Derm companies that have a plan and a pipeline. Enough said really , poor middle management that have no spine but treat their direct reports like garbage ( Georgie boy ) or need to take double the recommendable dose of beta blockers and Xanax ( Tracey ) that are expendable , not missed add no value . Those three should be joining sellen and lohose on job search trail .

They get paid on all the products, generics and Periostat, etc - but their quotas reflect that and are sky high. They'll make about the same as all other Rx reps. Probably 4-5k a Q if that. We'll be lucky to make squat this year. That div will prob have biologic or something new in the futureTRUE and they want to make them DM level with promotions---
