YER is upon us!!

The YER is another joke, especially for new managers who show favoritism and use this process to rank and bash certain employees. Oh, don't forget if you disagree you can always provide comments on your YER. Yippee. The entire differentiation process is flawed. Don't even bother contacting HR, Omsbudsmen, etc. Word is serious things are brewing in a certain unnamed group. Some employees have bypassed the internal system and are going after managers in a civil suit. This way HR and others are caught offguard and don't have time to collaborate and make up stories regarding YER's and performance reviews. Imagine an a hole manager sitting pretty at his house getting served by the best law firm in the US. Ouch.... Remember, if a manager can't back up ALL written statements on a YER and bonus outcome they can become as scrutinized as a field sales person. Any defamation behind an employees back will certainly lead to a court win. Merck doesn't necessarily pay the outcome and fees if the manager is slapped with a personal civil suit. This is a whole different matter.

Another joke, but not for those with strong competencies who get ravaged by the flawed appriasals.
