Why is it every year we have to pull teeth to find out what our raise is? March 1st comes the same time every year. What the hell is wrong with these people?
Since I was told during my review that I was getting one I wouldn't consider that entitlement. Thanks for your insightful comment. I'm sure you got the raise your deserved as well!
flash forward almost ten years and we are dealing with the same damn issues.
Leave Kowa if you’re able. It is the lowest paying in the industry and no drug to sell. Great if you’re trying to get into Pharmaceuticals Sales.
yes please immediately quit and go work somewhere else for 5k more and promptly get laid off![/QUOTE
its actually on average about double what we make here. Sounds like you are operating from a lack mindset and not a growth minded, and I’m assuming you have been stuck here for years because of your fear. No bueno. Fly little bambino you can do it!

For countless years and countless times I've heard people say this to somehow and someway defend Kowa, yet for countless years I've seen so many people and earn significantly more. Most have been just fine, while some get caught up in a downsizing. It's just the nature of this industry, but dont try to make it seem as if it is highly likely.

the grass is always greener…. Ask many of the people who left for a better deal if they wish they’d stayed! Trust me, staying is the best option!!! But honestly I don’t care what you do!
The fact that so many people are allowing the fear of failure to hinder them from growing and progressing is truly disappointing. If you leave can you risk a momentary fail? Of course! But thats LIFE you get up dust yourself off and try again. In the grand scheme of things the odds are in your favor to create a better life for yourself than you will ever have here. If you’re using Kowa as anything but a stepping stone you’re doing it wrong. It’s actually sad for me to see anyone hold themselves back in life.
Sounds like you’ve drank the “we are family” cool aid. Look around you and take off your rose colored glasses we have had nothing to bring us any pride in our work for the past several months because leadership failed us. Stop defending a leadership team that would dispose of you had it not been for the backbone of the Japanese owners. A reminder they’re not keeping us around out of the goodness of their hearts we here because it’s more cost effective for them to keep us. Not because they like us and want to call us by our first names. The level of delusion and loyalty given to these leaders is almost as delusional as that given to the titanic. The ship that refused to have enough lifeboats for the number of travelers on the damn ship. Wake the fuck up, just because they know you by your first name and that gives you little butterflies in your sweet little belly doesn’t mean they care about you this is a damn business!

Why you here then! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out
I guess it depends on how you define growth and success. You certainly can grow and achieve at Kowa. If you measure success solely by money I would say that I’ve never made more than I have here. Also, there is so much more to achieving success than just salary. One of the greatest parts of working here is everyone knows your name. Your opinion matters. Try finding that at most larger pharma companies.
