Xeljanz VP Lotz tells entire division they owe it to themselves & their families to talk to other companies and get their market value.
Said he has even started returning calls from companies and listening.
 












That is inspiring!
Right! A total joke of leadership. Gave us the green light to go interview & strongly encouraged the reps. Who in the world does that?? Heard he told DMs same thing at Jan managers mtg.
I know a dozen reps who were not looking, didnt even have resume updated that left the meeting looking to call headhunters.
Maybe it will be humble pie for Mr Cocky
 








He spoke and they listened.
So anyone who posts for or lands other jobs, blood is on his hands for allowing his ego to say something so stupid .
A VP's job is to lead and inspire for your company not for competitors. He shouldn't be surprised or upset if anyone leaves following his advise.

I am sure there is a method to your mad crazy comments & more than likely it is a heads up to reps for a future downsizing. If reps leave for a better company, that is less layoffs and you can downsize by attrition.
Dont worry, most of the reps are acting on your advise. I personally know of a few dozen who posted for Biogen.

Wow, I left Pfizer a few years ago. It does not surprise me that a “leader” in top management at Pfizer would say this, many were and apparently still are very arrogant. Pfizer was a premier company 20 years ago; too many people still look in the rear view mirror for their perspective. Get out if you can; there are greener pastures for those who are skilled.

It is an easy & cost effective way to downsize by attrition while avoiding paying 1wk for each year of service.

Kinda smart way to layoff and try to go from 265 to 100 reps so the reps can have docs to call on after 3hrs in the morning.

He is not that smart or strategic.
When you told the entire division that on stage at the NSM, that was 100% arrogance and ego. Nothing more that being cocky.
Creating attrition never enter his mind as a strategy.

It’s the best way to get rid of the most talented reps quickly and be left with the slackers. Not so smart. This is the guy who is supposed to be fighting for us not demotivating us before cuts. We need to bring back NO JERKS
 




With the entire executive leadership now being foriegn, he is probably going to get cut also in Nov. And new VP marketing will take over both like we had as launch...
(even new VP marketing while American spent most career international)
 




I was in the audience in Dallas in February when he said......they would look at "re-evaluating" the salary-band to ensure they were staying competitive with the marketplace and that "not everyone" would get a bump in salary.....he said That "I have been recruited by other companies"......It's a leap to infer that he was saying leave the company......

No he isnt leaving the co on his own will but will be cut on next round of layoffs due to being at out of position. The new Mkt VP will assume all duties & streamline as we go into LOE.
Do not think anybody thought he was leaving so don't know where you got that.
