Guys...everybody knows that people come on CafePharma to bitch, however this company is another level. Integra has some positions open in my area, and I like the industry, but this is the most negative board on here! The company seems to offer far less compensation then the competitors, and micromanage the sh*t out of everyone. Is there any happy reps at Integra? Please respond if you are out there.

Yes. Been here for 4+ years and it is what it is. Pay is a little on the low side but I have made $100k for half my time here and $85-90K the other part. While this is not a big bucks $300K +/year job, it is a job. I do not know what people expect but if you have a job you have to work and if you have a manager they will "manage" you. So what's the problem??

This is just some manager troll or a rep from another company trying to stir something up over here. Just take a look at our company posts vs other companies and see for yourself. Everyone at Cafepharma complains about somehting, but I must say that our company has the fewest posts and replies. That should tell You something, we are all working not posting on here every five minutes about things that we can not change like all the other crap companies. We may make less than you but we have less to complain about!

OP here...well I must say that the few people who posted gave very honest and insightful replies. I am currently a rep for another company, but not in your industry. You are all correct in that every single company has people complaining on here, however it just seemed like it was impossible for me to find ANYTHING positive about Integra. It's nice to hear that some people are happy. What is the reason Integra reps are paid so much less then other orthopedic / spine reps?

Because our CEO is a wall street guy and is squeezing as much profit margin as he can out of the company. The bad news for everyone working at other companies: Your company will soon do it too.

Integra is not a bad company. We have some issues that are frustrating, but show me a company that doesn't. You typically won't make as much as some other companies but I still think you can do ok if you hit your numbers. It's October and I am over 100K already. So I am projecting 120K -130k depending on a 12k end of year bonus.

Your job is what you make of it. Get up in the morning, work hard, shrug off the bad stuff, understand that there are some things you can't control and you will enjoy life. If your outlook turns negative, change your situation. It's really that simple.

I took over a territory that did 550k the previous year. Grew it to 1 mil the next year then 1.4 the next. Made over 140k then 180k and fully expect to make over 200k this year. Its sales, if you can sell you'll make money. If you can't then you'll be on here bitching about how the company sucks.

7% of 6 million is split among several reps and you're 1099.(with the Big ortho companys in my terr). 14% of 2mil plus gas, plus car allowance, plus cell, benefits, expenses etc... now do the math...
