Wow, how long will lamer Bob have a job? Aug 9 ER should seal his fate

As a TM I just don't see why we are failing. Nearly every time I look or listen to the news there's another feature on 'the opioid epidemic '. The CDC, FDA and law enforcement are all over it. You'd think a product like Arymo ER is a perfect fit. So why are we getting our asses handed to us by Wall St.? Initial sales are ok considering the limitations on reimbursement and payers/PBMs. We're behind budget but they're far too ambitious. So why all the doom and gloom? I think that we're on the brink of success.

Your lack of the knowledge with regard to market dynamics and corporate finance are pitiful. Life exists beyond your territory buddy.

I shall simplify. To survive as a company...you have to make a profit. Egalet does not turn a profit.

And the opioid epidemic? Did you know heroin is an opioid too? Guess what causes most opioid overdoses? And guess what the noise about the opioid epidemic has caused? A market that is investing in non-opioid options for pain management and a shit load of docs that are ready to give convert as many patients as possible. Because that's the future of pain management.

You can't get out of the gates fast on a horse with 4 broken legs.

Maybe one day you'll get an MBA and hang your head in shame from the ignorance of this post. I hear University of Pheonix will take anybody. Go for it.

There is no need to act like a complete jerk-off douchebag to someone who is simply asking a question based on his/her perception of his/her territory. You are a glorious example of everything that is wrong with sales reps, and the embodiment of the obnoxious stigma that many people attach to pharmaceutical reps...Grow up, ass-clown.

Dummy,
The TD aspect of the product just makes it harder to crush and snort, it has no effect on most common methods of abuse - just swallowing it.
With sales reps like you no wonder the company is almost chapter 11.
Your Investors

Let's recap Q1 earnings call while we're at it shall we.

Investors: "The share price has plummeted 1400% in 3 months. What are you going to do next quarter to change that trend?"
Egalet: "The same exact stuff with the same exact people and the same exact strategy."
Investors: *crickets*

If Egalet were a birth control method it would be "pull and pray."

Downsizing to be announced on Aug 9th. #BullshitBob has no other alternative. Company can't carry on losing $25 million plus per quarter. Shea's and Lindhart's jobs are in jeopardy, Strobeck is Bob's buddy who he personally helped during his divorce (Strobeck allegedly abused his ex wife) so he's safe for the moment. Bob has to blame both his commercial and R and D heads for their multiple failures and incompetency. About time this shit show came to an end.

FOR SURE. Even cutting the salesforce in half and replacing the failing management will still be the equivalent of putting a plastic bag over a firehose in an attempt to stop the flood. This company needs a complete and total overhaul to even have a shred of a chance of survival. They need to clean house. Rookies shouldn't be selling pain drugs with no access. They should offer high salaries and competitive stock/bonus packages to attract top tier talent across sales and management WHO HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL LAUNCHING PAIN PRODUCTS.

One good rep can do the job of 5 rookie reps in pain specialty. They could cut sales force by 66%, double salaries, and still drop the cost of the sales force by 1/3 All while actually SELLING product. A little thing called experience.

Cost cutting and downsizing only creates artificial inflation in a companies value. Nothing will change unless the product actually sells.

End rant.

So my manager is on my case about TRx numbers. So what's up? We're behind budget by 16%, so who's fault is that? Have the HQ guys and gals to thank for not getting the AD claim. Just saw that our stock closed at 1.14. I thought that I joined a winner. I don't think that Radie can last much longer. Sad - nice little guy.

Wonder who'll be the new leader? Stan? Mark? Dayno?

You mean the other 3 ringleaders who got us into this mess?

Really surprised no one has said more about the 30 million $$ offering. I'm interested to hear why corporate did that and what they are using that money for cause I can't find anything on Google. Hopefully to get us some insurance coverage for Mediaid cause that's what I hear about ALL DAY LONG every day of my life

you can't find anything about it because it didn't happen. After they announced the secondary public offering price the stock fell significantly under that offering price which caused a cancellation of the offering given that investors would be purchasing with an immediate loss. ***As a reminder that 30 million would of only got the company another quarter given they have been operating at a 25 million dollar loss every quarter. My guess is that Bob was trying to buy more time to sell current drugs and guardian technology, if there was any interest, which I am guessing there isn't.....

Morning Bob,

Will the Board have the guts to fire you after the Earnings Call this afternoon? Perhaps you could do the decent thing and resign. However that would take honor and guts - two qualities that you're woefully lacking in.

I wonder how you'll spend your last day on the job. What a completely abject failure you are.

Goodbye

Frank xxx

We all are worried about our jobs. Anyone in sales, marketing or R&D should have their resume out there. On Tuesday Radie will announce cost cutting measures and downsizing.

Don't worry if your incentive shares are under water, you don't owe anyone anything.

Good luck in your job search.

I called it right:

Egalet Announces Second Quarter 2017 Financial Results and Expense Reduction Plan

Aug. 9, 2017 4:02 PM

--Company restructuring expected to reduce costs by 35%--

--40% staff reduction--

Stan and Bob were their usual pathetic selves on the ER call. They told the analysts that they spent $9.3 million on marketing to gain only $6.6 million in revenue. I.e. they lost 30c on every dollar. The true definition of pathetic. We need a complete management change and fast.

~ Informed insider

Wow, that CC was BAAAD! #BullshitBob and #ShiftyStan were tongue tied and terrible. No confidence nor credibility. Even the analysts couldn't be bothered to ask questions. The sales fell short of expectations and shares are trading at an all time low.

Check out the Stocktwits website under EGLT.

Folks are just giving up on this company and management team.

We're losing $26 million a quarter and #BullshitBob is mumbling about a pathway to profitability. What an idiot. I've lost all respect for the douche.

Well, that call was a joke. Circular answers with no substance. No path forward. The only reason the sales force isn't getting slashed is because they NEED this quarter to produce something positive for the company to be even slightly attractive for a buy-out.

Come Q3 the salesforce will be gone by 40% too. I would bet my life savings on it.

Right on bro! Time to desert this sinking ship. Plenty of great opportunity out there in much better companies. This place is truly embarrassing.

At least 25 jobs being eliminated here in Wayne. Why not start with the expensive dead wood? Top of the list, Barb in Finance. Then Strobeck. Musial. Dayno. Shea and of course the architect of the disaster, Radie. There's a $3 million a year saving immediately.

I was surprised no analyst asked Radie why he wouldn't lead from the front and reduce his obscene salary to say $1, like Steve Jobs did, and just take his compensation from increased shareholder value.

Morale sucks, I can't wait to take my package and go. Hoping I'm one on the lucky 25 list.

Fuck Radie!

Do not forget the brilliant (or so he thinks) Mark. If anyone is culpable besides Radie and Pat it is Mark. He ran the entire sales side and all of commercial ops while the horrible string of decisions were being made on how, where, and with who to sell Egalet products...all of it. He is just as responsible as Radie in my book and can take credit for the failure of commercialization of this company

My personal favorite line from the call today was "We are making 8% of calls on prospects and we really need to rein that in." By MT. 8%!?!?!? You mean to tell me this company is failing and the drugs won't sell because of that? Is that a joke? If that is what keeps Mark awake at night when he thinks about the sales force then no wonder everything is so bad.
