The staunch Republicans on my staff tell me that he needs to soften the tariffs a bit and that he will as the campaigning heats up as he needs to draw attention away form his quid pro quid Ukrainian thing. My staff and I enjoy your musings though.
What you fail to understand, or accept is Bush tanked it, Obama had nowhere to go but up.
The bailouts of GM, banks, WS to remedy the mortgage debacle, etc. had more to do with O’s increase than he and his policies did.
