Any info on the wound center specialist role? selling medline direct to you to wound care centers? Any product, comp info etc. would be helpful. thanks! I'm assuming the m.o. of a shady commission structure is present in this division as well?

I will say that Medline's WC is actually a very good line of products. Although I am no longer with the company, I will say this is one of the products that I was never ashamed to sell. I always saw good results with the products and made decent money.

any idea on what kind of compensation is attainable? interviewing soon. thanks for your help. theres a lot of negativity on here regarding working as a rep for medline and i wasnt sure id get a serious response to begin with.

This is the same person from post 2, there is a whole lot wrong with Medline. There are some very shady dealings and even shadier managers which is the reason why I'm no longer there. So the negativity is very real and warranted. That being said I can't even begin to tell you what you would make. The pay is so random and convoluted anyone who tells you that they know exactly how they get paid is lying out of their ass. Sorry.

I was contacted about this position. Was quoted 45k base plus commission and bonus. Was told commission is paid on growth...however it's a new position so how can you pay commission on growth? Year 1 are you basically going to make commission on everything you sell and then year 2 have goals adjusted? I was told ~75k year one. Possible to make 80-100 year 2 here?
