Worst NSM ever!

A lot of these people who are touting the meeting as great have come from other pharmaceutical companies that sucked even harder than what we have now.

The motivational speaker made zero sense leaving me to wonder how he got to where he has. Do they even have a dry run before they let a speaker run wild with platitudes that are so transparent that even pictures upon pictures with important people don't make up for it? Was he hired in the hopes that Shire might have a shot on the next Forbes list -thereby catching the eye of potentional buyouts because we know that's what this leadership really wants- this guy actually shamed himself.

Who here is going to crack open his book with gusto thirsting for the wisdom he might give?

Lackluster meeting without even a try hard attitude. You can almost feel the disdain leadership feels to even have to breathe the same air as their sales people.

Good thing most of us know the truth and do the best we can for those who matter. But if anyone winning an award expects me to fawn over them you are feeling yourself way too much.

I didn't win P-club, just think the people that did deserve recognition, they worked their asses off. that's all....
I agree about the meeting being too long and way too many people. Hopefully next year it will be by business unit and not the entire company.

So your point is that many people here are so negative that there must be something wrong with the lot of them? Did it ever occur to you that it might just be that the meeting was THAT bad and people are uninspired by the leadership? Perhaps they are fed up with unethical people making decisions for the commercial side of the business and they just want to get the fuck out of there and hit the bar or go to bed.

Are you really that blind or just naive? Or maybe you are one of those sick sycophants who thinks you are connected to these losers and feel the need to defend them? Wake up snowflake, this company jumped the shark when FO brought his marauding band of idiots over. The real leadership and talent left long ago. People have EVERY right to piss and moan.

You think it's right to dis your peers and evacuate the awards ceremony early? Every table around us left after the people at their tables finished receiving, or didn't receive awards. Great way to hurt management? No! We're in this together. We should be supporting each other and cheering each other on. The guy at our table was one of the last people called. Maybe a fourth of the crowd was courteous enough to support him. You all want to blame management for every little blip. I now see what a poor group they have to work with. Not proud of what happened that night. not at all. Acted like a bunch of sore losers.

Exactly.......that's what I was trying to say in a previous post. As reps, we really need to stick together and support each other. I saw many sore losers at the meeting last week and it's a sad culture.

No. That's in poor taste. I was mostly referring to the rah rah meeting lovers.

I've won P club and I haven't. Every year I work hard. I don't think that's the reason to stay. It's just respect to wait until the end. I do think some people are feeling themselves way too much though.

The real problem wasn't sore losers either. It was a poorly executed dinner. Salad was served and a lot of wine... then it was was nearly an hour before the next course. It was an excruciating marathon of a poorly planned dinner that went on for far too long.

No it wasn't the winners fault. They need to have each NBU have their own dinner. That is the real problem.

Listen snowflake, there are a handful of really good reps, some bad ones and a whole lot that are clustered in the middle. More often than not a Presidents Club win is the result of a market event that the people in those areas took advantage of. If you really think there is that much separation and only "great reps" win pres club, then you are part of the problem.

Plus, I wouldn't put it past KK or PS to rig the game and handpick people they want to win. In fact KK has been called out on this multiple times. Whether its bypassing people who deserve it or shifting goals to bury those she doesn't like, its all suspect with her.

People like you piss us all off. No one said anything related to what you said. This has nothing to do with HOW people won their awards, but leaving early was wrong.

They're both connected moron. No one cares who won because the whole system is rigged and not fair. If I worked in a tough access market where I had to scratch and claw for scripts and I had to sit there for 3-4 hours watching these assholes get recognized because of where they live I'd walk the fuck out too.

Well said my friend. So true!

Totally Agree! It was rude that folks left early and I hope management noted those leaving!
Management doesn't care as long as you tell them how much you admire them and what an accomplished leader they are. I usualy feign interest in KK when she talks about herself and she thinks I'm the bomb. Then I leave the dinner early so I can return to my room and vomit.

Fact is the meeting contributed to people cutting out of the awards early. We got zero free time or breathing room. Barely enough time to go up to our rooms and even change. Which means not a ton of time to call back home and take care of life needs.

Then you toss a WAY too long dinner on top of that marathon of suck and expect people to sit there for hours?

Yes it is rude to leave early. But you are kidding yourself if you think people should have to wait around for hours under those conditions. It's not just the awards dinner but days of no room to even get basic personal things done.

To the person who said they hope management took note of those who left early, you are a pathetic piece of dog crap turned white in the sun. You are what is wrong with everything in corporate culture. You would just love a kiss ass brown noise culture to fully take over so that people don't notice what kind of awful person you really are.

Put that in your survey which is due today. And tell your friends to do the same.

I'm surprised by how negative some of the reps are that work here. When the P-Club & VP Circle winners were announced at the meeting, it was shocking to see how bad the non-winners acted. People leaving the awards dinner early because they'd "had enough" people not even saying congratulations. Nothing worse than a sore loser.....just sayin.....

You are surprised people didn't stay the whole time? People were sick and exhausted! After a 20 hour day of being herded around like cattle I think that was long enough!!

HA!
I am still shocked they are offended that people left early! Back in the day there were no PC receptions so get over yourself!!

Well cry me a river. Sore loser snowflake. It's rigged because you didn't get a participation trophy? My territory has no chance of winning anything. It's large, it's rural, it's in a very poor state, and I have very few docs. I scratch & claw for every single Rx and I always exceed my goals because I care and my accounts see that. . I guess it only matters if YOU YOU YOU win. With that attitude you probably never will. And, just by chance, if you ever do. I hope it's in front of an empty room.

Beautifully said! It's good to see there are still some people at this company that can be mature. I didn't win either but I still support those that did. They deserved the recognition they received. Nothing worse than a sore loser!
