Women's Health Sucks

100% commission is the compensation for new reps...$250 car allowance/month to start...$1,175 monthly expense budget
Not even a draw to get you started....
30% commission on "new business" is damn good, but again, would these products really sell for you to make those commissions? A man has to eat and live, lol;) I passed on the interview process...didn't sound good

is this legit?

I have an interview in the Southeast area. The recruiter told me it was about 45-55K base, company car and about 6K/month in commission at plan - so, about 120K at plan. Is that accurate ?

From the above posts, it seems like comp plan is more like 85K at plan. Why such a disparity ?

FYI- They just went through layoffs and are scheduled to have more in Jan. I dont know if you really want a job here right now. One of the device companies (not EWHU) recently let a group of new hires go during there initial training class.

That was Ethicon, Inc. and we are so proud! It takes a lot of long term planning to hire new reps and then lay them off at the end of the first week of training. It's the credo in action!

Did any of those new hires who were let go get severance? Also if any of you are on here what did your managers say to you when they let you go? Did you rip into them for wasting your time and costing you to leave your other job? I bet this was a first medical job for some of them and they got fucked up the ass royally. JNJ is a sham.

I do not know if they get severance, but I would assume they got something. We also had another new rep who completed training and was in her territory 2 weeks when she was laid off. She quit a good job as some kind of a scientist and MOVED to another city to take this job.

What we need is Scotty J to step up and and make a contribution. The dream team, Jonsie, Salyer, these guys just need to get it done as they are the most respected pros in the business. Lets give these studs a raise. Real heavy hitters!

What about those price increases? I can't wait to get those phone calls from Materials Management on 2/1. We have officially priced ourselves out of the market! Horray!
BTW, 2 EWHU managers have left within 2 weeks?! OUCH!

I think Sean W is doing a great job, and is a real leader. He has years of experience running successful Districts/Divisions and is wise beyond his years. His team loves and supports him, and customers respect his knowledge and leadership. We need more guys just like him!
Regards,
Jonsie and Salyer

Hmmmmmmmmmm.........you are so wrong. SW is NOT management material. He has you fooled. He was the acting DM in the south, and no one on the team liked him. He is so full of himself and so self centered. A complete moron.

Ok, I just realized the comment from "Jonsie Salyer" was sarcastic. I was thinking that was Salyer's first name accidently spelled wrong. I realize now who Jonsie is. I am an idiot!

Is Greg P still dating reps that work for him in his region? Is Kevin M really Ok with that? This place wont be around very long. The sales person is considered the lowest position in the company. Lets have a rah rah conference call to discuss our old products, facilitated by a person wh has neither sold before, or been in the OR

Wil someone please tell me if this is the same Greg P that went to Sanofi and is now at Hospira? I know he used to be at Ehticon so I am thinking this isn't a coincidence.
