Will Regeneron keep CV reps if drug goes away?

Now why in the world would Regeneron keep you CV folks around to collect a free paycheck when you have no product? You should have seen this coming a long time ago! None of you know how to sell!

Of course Praluent Reps will be gone with no product.
Bad sales people? No. Seems to me they are good Reps.
Everything has worked against them and now this latest cluster F##k.

Anyone from management can offer a sincere response? How about David Robinson comes clean with us? Will we be kept and paid like Rheumatolgy reps or let go?

Why would David offer anything up now? He has been no where to be found on a regular communication basis and has his money. He truly doesn't give a fuck unless your one of his cronies.

Bottom line, this drug is gone. I myself have tried to be an optimist because I worked so very hard to get here, but when senior management literally tells you it would probably be a good idea if 20 percent of the time you worked on a resume and 80 percent in the field, then a light should go off. I believe some will move to open positions and the rest gets a 90 day severance. Bottom line we have till about June to collect a paycheck. We will not be thrown out on the street immediately but in no way shape or form are they going to have us do promote anything with dupi or saril. It violates Sanofi contract and they won't do that. Also in law they really dont overturn to many things that are appealed once rulled upon. Again, I could be proven totally wrong, but end the end the payors did a masterful job in slowing praulent and raptha down. We didn't help the situation any but there is no way they are going to keep everyone on especiallly since our drug won't even surpass 100 million anytime soon. Good news now, Regeneron still has a good name so everyone should be able to get interviews if they hit it hard now, I wouldn't wait around for the rainbow guys.

who said anything about 20% time work on resume and 80% in the field slap nut balls? Quite guessing

I heard that comment too. They will only expand Dupi when Pulm indications are ready, and not before. They will leave the original dupi reps in place until that time. Expansion would happen after CV is gone. Unless CV does not find jobs right away, then they probably won't be in a position to come back. Hearing one year before Pulm is ready. That's a long time when you have mortgages to pay. I did hear that Regeneron is "working on something for those left in CV" but can't comment on what that may be. I have not heard of anyone leaving yet.

So Praluent is done?

Two potential paths for Praluent. First, GONE. Second, severely handicapped with >20% in royalties. Either way, find another job and move on.

Let this be a lesson learned and perhaps foreshadow of Dupi.

So Praluent is done?
Put a fork in her, son. She's done.

Regeneron stock toppled 6% that day... Praluent is slated to be pulled from shelves Feb. 21 if a federal circuit judge doesn't grant a stay on the injunction pending the appeal.

Analysts have already largely removed Praluent from their expectations for Regeneron, Butt wrote in a research report Monday. Fortunately for Regeneron and Sanofi, an on-time approval for dupilumab to treat extreme atopic dermatitis looks likely, he says.

You don't know that so just eat shit pork ass. And bring your slime balls with you

I think DR said he leaves in June.
There's 2 separate but connected issues. The patent challenge may cost $500M and multiple years to win. If we don't get the injunction lifted by 2/21 then we have nothing to sell.
The REGN hospital team is a guide for how they will handle us peons. Vetted like Presidential candidates yet their jobs changed 2-3 times since hire, counting the ones who survived the purges. True, they actually kept about half that team of 60 in other roles. But that included moves to RA and derm teams, which have been filled. Think they had 60-90 days to post & interview inside REGN and then 2 mths severance. That would be the best case scenario.
We have a lot more people affected - maybe 200 all at once vs. 60. And again, the fallback slots have been taken. Yes I know the RA ppl have been sitting at home since Oct, but they're launching before Jun. Same with Derm.
The conf call we had with Legal last week - I appreciate some limited transparency, albeit 3 VERY long weeks after it all hit the fan. I understand the time lines better now, but no one should have left that call feeling confident about overturning the injunction.
I believe we actually sold over $100M in 2016 through Q3. But the Alliance spends like $5 for every $1 they bring in. So you have to wonder: is the Alliance leadership team or REGN board going to want to spend so much money on promotion, or cut the Commercial budget and re-invest in R&D? Eylea won't make tons of money forever... maybe starting in 2017.
If it's been a while since you sold in a pod, this is the worst of that experience. Our average patient age in clinical trials is 63... but we fund only a fraction of the necessary Foundation money for Med D patients. SNFI reps believe the promises of every "dude" working for an SP, send them all their business, and wonder why they can't see the script and why NRx and TRx are going sideways. SNFI blames REGN for the crappy Hub rollout, but they forget they negotiated the contracts with the SPs and PBMs. SNFI wants activity & metrics, like that matters with a specialty biologic market. How is this situation going to promote better collaboration & teamwork? Do people behave rationally when you're talking about losing their money?
SNFI PCP reps are in limbo with their territories, I'm hearing they won't have permanent assignments until March. My guess is SNFI is taking a "wait and see" approach. If the injunction doesn't get lifted, I could see SNFI CEO going to Len with the pitch of "Look, you guys are good with making cool stuff and not so solid on bringing products to market. Why don't you focus on your competencies, and let us focus on ours? Cut your Commercial team, we have reps with endo and now direct Praluent experience." That would explain why SNFI never wanted to move away from "total dirt", since they see tons of opportunity in IM and PCP even though we are beating AMGN with specialists.
Final thought - I've talked to recruiters who tell me some of the sales leaders who have told us "business as usual, we'll be fine" are calling those same recruiters.
I believe if you're not looking for something outside REGN, you should be. But what do I know? I came over here thinking my stock options would be worth something someday.

I don't ever want to hear that. We are SUPERIOR sales reps. Consider the AMGN advantages (yes I'm gonna sling mud here, but I know these facts):
1) AMGN pays $4000 for speakers to give a talk; we max out at $2500 for the national KOLs.
2) AMGN has been telling HCPs in my territory since launch that we would be off the market.
3) The AMGN reps have greater span of control & significantly smaller geos - my specialty territory overlaps with 3 AMGN specialty territories.
4) Let's be honest, the AMGN field access people do a LOT more than ours. They live in the offices, handle patient records, fill out paperwork, and have switched patients from Praluent to Repatha. Significant advantage.

Despite all that, I have beaten Repatha in market share and especially with parity commercial plans. I don't ever want to hear that AMGN reps are better than me.
