What a piece of shit market. To think the managers let the S. Bracy's run the district with no consequences. Bracy will turn you and burn you. Scot will back Bracy to stay in "good graces!" Ha ha. Day in and day out, your team is ruled by the Bracy. Do you have a backbone? The only trend is that people don't like their boss. In any company in any industry. I like how people come on here and pretend that they have some sort of legitimate reason for it. Just own up to the fact that you don't like your boss because he/she is your boss.

I disagree - please allow me to explain why.

Most people come on here and scream their boss is an idiot, but that's not typically the case. Most don't dislike their boss simply because he/she is the boss either.

IMHO, the thing most people usually don't like is their boss's personality or some personal trait the boss has.
 




After retiring from this industry with several decades at various companies, I should remind everyone who complains about someone complaining about their manager; no one quits a pharma job, they quit their manager. If you are unhappy with your current manager your best bet is to move on to something else. You will be happier in the long run.

True enough, but sometimes it's possible to ride out the storm. Although that does take a lot of patience.

And don't forget, if you're persistent enough, you might be able to effect a change in who is your manager. It took a couple of years, but my teammates and I rode out a real bad storm, and we kept hammering away at our boss until she eventually did the right thing for herself (and us) by resigning from NNI.

I believe the point of this thread was
about a rep who has been given too much power, and the district members ask why management will not take control and remind this rep of her role, which is not a manager. A rep who controls the team and the manager encourages disrespect and resentment. It sounds like the manager doesn't give a crap, which is a problem in its own right. S. Bracy is known for her controlling antics and because she can't obtain a management role, she imparts dysfunctional antics among the team. Tell her to F off. Go to HR. She is weak despite appearances and the manager is WEAK. It must suck so bad to want to be a manager, but you just don't have the skill set S. Bracy! Poor poor soul, you poor example of a human being.
 




The point of this thread is to discuss a rep who has been given too much power because management doesn't want to deal with her. Not a thread talking about "if you don't like your manager, deal with it." S. Bracy is not a manager but treats everyone like she is, and management allows it which is ridiculous. Poor S. Bracy, you don't have the skill set to get a management position, so you are an absolutely miserable human being imparting dysfunction everywhere you go. Doctors can't stand you and your distinct can't either. Self-absorbed asshole is what you are. You have a sickness and people are tired of it. Sad sad excuse for a jealous individual.
