What has Mallinckrodt done to improve this?
Answer: Nothing.
Mallinckrodt wouldn’t be in this predicament if they provided proper medically acceptable evidence on HP Acthar gel in its 19 indications and justified the outrageous price tag. You wouldn’t be defending it and shorts wouldn’t have a story. It’s that simple. Stop blaming shorts and own that your company hasn’t backed you up.
I applaud your passion and loyalty to the scum you work for, but they don’t believe in Acthar or you’d see real proof not retrospective cherry picked infomercial data. If the drug you represent had relevant medical evidence and was priced appropriate there is no short story!!
