I wasn’t aware of 7% core contributions.
it was 2% with a 5% pension, but they eliminated the pension going forward and made core 7%. No matter, they still suck ass.
I’ve heard this stupid bullshit for over a decade!
If you think for a second any change in the benefit package is best for the employee you've been drinking the juice.Discontinuing the cash balance pension plan and increasing the 401K on the surface looks like nothing was reduced. The bottom line is a pension plan is very costly due to the annuity guarantee and fees vs dumping the 5% into the 401K which is much less assured.

GSK is the best pharma company to work for. Great benefits and pay and opportunity for growth.
GSK has undergone significant changes over the years and is no longer the company it once was. While it previously held a position among the top 5 in revenue and had numerous drugs on the top 100 list, it currently ranks around 15th. Despite this shift, GSK still boasts a handful of excellent products, particularly in the vaccines division.
In comparison to many other pharmaceutical companies, GSK remains a considerably attractive employer. The compensation and benefits offered are commendable. Like any high-paying job, stress is inherent, but this is a common aspect in most such roles.
It's worth noting that every organization has its share of challenges, and GSK is no exception. However, it could be viewed as an excellent place to gain valuable experience before exploring potentially better opportunities elsewhere.
An overarching challenge in the pharmaceutical industry is the limited access providers have to influence their choice of drugs. Nevertheless, GSK provides robust training and support materials. The real issue lies in effectively utilizing these resources and implementing the acquired training.
Yeah. This is absurd. They must be testing the various AI tools. Don’t think any actual live employee would say this.

I would agree. It is a great place as it has products are traditional pharma, specialty pharma, Oncology, Vaccines, and HIV. Plenty of opportunities to get experience in all of the managed care and government segments....and if you are there long enough they have a retirement benefit package. Get your experience, raise your hand for the package, and move on to a biotech company...........they are more than competitive in pay and benefits and it is where GSK, Pfizer, Merck...etc. all want to be in their next life.
Why would anyone be so foolish? They haven't made that rattletrap since 2018. WTF?Coast to coast in 4 hours, no TSA.
