Why work here?

What a crock! Did you just say that "leadership/HR is classy"? What a joke you are to say such a thing about the leadership at this dump, including the minimally experienced girl with the inflated HR position. This company is an old network of rejects from a previous reject company that all stick together and take care of their reject friends. If your manager is over 50, chances are they are part of this group. Sometimes talent will sneak in, but it is few and far between.

So, what you're saying is, you sucked, you were fired, and it's everybody else's fault. Got it.

I think a lot of good people work here. Unfortunately not everyone can afford to stay in these jobs. Its all about being able to pay your bills. I would reapply if I married a sugar honey or hit the sweepstakes!

Just curious, why in the world would anyone want to work for this second-rate, poor excuse for a company?? Please note, the operative word is "want" to, not have to. I understand the pharma industry is downsizing many people and people have to support themselves and families.
But to come here voluntarily????

I interviewed with these ass-clowns two years ago, and walked out of the interview after 5 minutes, laughing at them and kicking myself for being so stupid to waste my time.
Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm applying to a couple Publicis jobs in TX and want some feedback. I want to leave a job off my resume. I've been in Pharma 10 yrs. 6 with Merck and hopping around about once a year since as the industry has been shaky. I want to leave off a 6 month stint at Otsuka. Will that show up in a back ground check if I have t listed it? It was just too many jobs to put for the past 4 yrs. please weigh in! Peace

Yep. You're right. I'm actually friends with those little green men. They like to gossip. They have placed s transmitter in your but. The project is called FAT BASTERD. They talk about how much you enjoyed the process. Soon they're going to turn you into Caitlyn Jenner so that you can segue into becoming a bitch. It's only appropriate since you enjoy sucking 'em off to keep your job.
No but seriously...You're an idiot!
Aren't the little green guys the ones doing the recruiting? Geez. I'm so confused. I mean we never see them face to face. How do we know it's not.

I did say that. I meant it, too. I have worked with lots of companies, all of them at least good, most of them excellent. Doesn't matter who you are, anyone reading your post will understand, it isn't the company, it's your mindset. You can control that. You should.

Yes, it will show up. Don't leave it out. These days most resumes are like that. They key thing is to clearly explain why you left and what you hoped to gain from the next company. Yes, say you left. Not let go. Not downsized. You left. I left company A for company B because I wanted to gain experience in X. It makes you seem more well rounded and motivated instead of being just a victim of circumstance. Good luck!

It's been a little while since I last visited this thread, so you may have already gone through the process. If you worked for a big company, more than likely if you make it past a background check deleting it, someone might recognize you from the company you left off your resume. The world is getting smaller and smaller. I would just be honest. When you tell the truth and someone questions you, you can firmly stand by what you have on your resume, even if someone wants to be a dick and say that you're lying.
On the other hand, people are making up so many lies about others to bury them, you could tell the truth...and if someone wants your job bad enough because of the potential for being rolled over on the contract, they'll claim your lying about your experience...especially if you have a disease state or type of product line in your background that they never sold.
The sad thing is if someone has backing from someone that's a little less than ethical, they'll play up that you jumped around, so that they can get their 'lil buddy hired. The thing is ...check out Linked In, there are so many salespeople that have moved multiple times since 2008- current that had a pretty stable background until the industry got hit hard. Those individuals have still landed on their feet despite the odds... It's all about WHO you know and avoiding clicks of treachery if it's possible. Some have absolutely no shame. It's sad but true.

Honestly, This place is like a fcking cult! I liken it to Scientology where they have weird controlling stalker types that are like mind controlled minions.

Right. Losers stick together, that's how cults are built. It the lost, disenfranchised, shitheads who need some nitwit to tell them how wonderful they really are and that the spaceship is coming. Wake up morons. You're being used, screwed, and dumped. The space ship ain't coming, and Santa, the Easter bunny, and the tooth fairy died when you were 5.
Wake up and join the real world.

How in the world would it show up? I've never deleted a position, but I've heard others brag about doing this. I would think that an employment gap would be worse, but who knows ?
