Why work at NuVasive?

To your manager comment. I am a manger and I find it very difficult to speak my mind to corporate because the distibutorship is stronger than the NuVasive presence in the area. There are some area business managers that are just trying to keep a job so they are quiet when it comes down to issues and direction of area. Not a very solid business plan. I am considering looking at a distributorship managers spot now since NuVasive does nothing to help me. Does anyone else have to deal with this in your area?

See if this rings any bells...........Do you expect success when.....you hire Directors and Managers that are there based on their personal relationships with upper mngmt and have no experience in the business, never sold spine product, job hopped, never stayed one job long enough to earn a professional stripe, manages from their living room. Bottom-line, Nuvasive has the wrong people, in leadership positions that are unskilled, lack specific industry experience, and they are there for all the wrong reasons and did not earn their positions based on a record of measurable performance and professional accomplishments.

When key positions are filled based on personal vs. professional merit, you are set up to fail. That is what you're seeing at Nuvasive and you know who these characters are.
 






Look around you player. lol Why in the world would you work for some of the distributors in place now. Nuvasive must have have their eyes closed....Word on the street is that no decent rep with real relationships will work for those guys. Just keeping it real purple.
 






Can anyone give me some advice? I am looking to move to the south for a spine opportunity. Does anyone know if they have a direct or distributorship model in Georgia? I have family in Georgia. I have ten years of medical device experience with five in spine just recently with a top five company in the west. Thanks for any information.
 






Do not talk to NuVasive there. Consider Globus. 4Spine is doing well. The Nuva distributor is very strange and his people don't want to work for him anymore. Tons of turn over. Good luck! you should find something pretty quick
 




































For opportunity? Happy to hear Matt Link is now the new VP of sales. He is a hard worker!! He has a lot of cleaning up to do with distributorships and managers that do nothing!!! South!!!!
