Why was Surfaxin Launch Delayed?

What does it mean for the sales team? It means they will continue to be lied to, and in 6-8 months they will get more bad news. Look at the record. There is absolutely no reason to believe that this product will ever launch.

Not surprising.

This means everybody hired in the last six months will be let go, including all of the MSLs, sales reps, managers, etc.

Something was screwed up again, yet management of this wreck will never admit they did anything wrong. Surprised the shareholders have not shot them out on their butts.

Unfortunately the threads where I posted several times of why this company and product were so awful have been pulled. In addition the replies to my posts stating that I was jealous I didn't get the job here, I didn't know what I was talking about, I was clueless, I was a troll etc etc etc have also been pulled. Now you will experience what many many others have who worked here in the past ( I was not one of them but am a potential competitor).

This drug will have a VERY difficult time in the market place trust me. If you work in sales most of you already know this by now due to you have had conversations with your customers. By posting on here does not help my mkt share or sell more Rxs so suggesting that would be ridiculous. Again, wait and see how correct I am when this product comes out on the market and how much pressure and stress you are put under to make sales of an inferior drug that is seen as very suspect in the eyes of many of the key customers. I give you all 12 months before major cuts to the commercial team start to take place if this drug even launches.

Thank you so much for your insight and concern. Are you a cornerstone rep? My question is about your motivation. Why do you continue to post and pester us? What are you looking to gain other than the satisfaction of saying "I told you so"?

No thank you. I will continue to stick around and keep up with the "I told you so" as they come out every 1-2 months. Can't wait for the biggest one in 12 months. Wait and see.

How much bonus are you going to earn while you wait 6-8 months for the company to fix the analytical testing problem and get the FDA okay to launch?

Or looking at it another way - how much bonus are you going to lose with the delay?

forget about lost bonuses. The company will burn cash paying salaries and bennies, with no revenue to cover the expenses. Layoff at least half the sales force or more. Skeleton crew to launch it. Nose dive as economy races to fiscal cliff. Not pretty.

Can you imagine having your delicate newly born son/daughter placed on a newly launched medicine that has been delayed by the FDA for a multitude of reasons since 2007! Yes, 2007! Never!

Who on earth is still posting that this product will ever launch? It was a sham approval based upon a manufacturing requirement that we won't ever be able to meet. I'm sick of this.
