Why Lilly missed Q3 earnings

Patrik, Rhonda, and Shannon don’t know what they are doing! Chased out best sales leaders who pushed back on their agenda, pushing dynamic targeting that takes away all field judgment and expertise, and drove sales calls on bad targets, and dropped productivity from over 8 calls a day down to 4-5. We have the best drug on the market and this team of horrible leaders is screwing it up. Wall Street should be asking about that.

Oh they’re horrible leaders and they make bad business decisions.
Lilly isn’t set up to be a job fir sales people though.
There’s never been a very good measure of fair performance comparison, commissions aren’t solely based on individual territory performance and then awards/promotions are too subjective and depends on manager politics instead of performance. So you’re bit going to draw true sakes people to stay here or they’ll give up and do just enough to survive.

2.5 years of district or national goals. Reps are motivated by individual goals. Who is in charge of demotivating sales management strategies? Then launch DT & send us on wild goose chase with a bad database. Veeva sold leadership hook line and sinker. I’m worried about future miss if not corrected asap. Individual goals and pay for performance.
