Why is KH still here?

Entirely baffled why he’s been given an interim sales mgr position. The guy is all textbook, has no actual sales experience (but will tell you otherwise) with significant gaps in his work history and who has zero respect from the field. Remember SB and CP hired him. Please new head management/decision-makers. Keep an eye on him. He needs direction toward the closest exit ramp.

Nice maybe. But way out of his competency level. He implemented that ridiculous call point-check the box-must-have-a-signature-by 9am unrealistic goal that revealed he has no clue what actual happens in the field. And his sales training? Don’t get me started. No respect. His being nice doesn’t help me achieve my sales goals.

And No....
He is not nice.
If you are ever in a group meeting with him and you question something that he said which is not correct. His reply is always.....Let's take that off line. Which he never does. At that point he will not like you and will throw you under the bus when he gets a chance.
Gotta run.

Agree. Out of touch comment. If you poll the reps who have been hired with clinical experience but have never sold before the majority of them will say that they need sales training. Plenty of the new reps are calling the more seasoned reps to ask what they do during a typical sales call. Sales training is offered in every reputable pharmaceutical company to keep reps current in sales techniques and product indications, contraindications, side effects, FDA regulations, clinicals, pricing, competition, etc etc. A few new inexperienced sales reps have left bc they were frustrated in the job, they had the clinical knowledge but no sales aptitude that sales training would prove beneficial.

Precisely. Nice? Never.
why would anyone join this company? PF free prostaglandin has been tried and failed over a decade ago. Glaucoma doctors dont care about the ocular surface plus generics are 5 dollars.

The rest of the portfolio are failed products that doctors don't need any reps. The issue is the overall business decision for this portfolio. the company shouldnt even exist. France will pull the plug soon. They have no growth drivers.

Who exactly are the clinical, inexperienced sales reps that left due to frustration from no sales aptitude?

People are leaving due to the low pay and poor management. Not due to “frustration” in their job from no sales aptitude.

I do agree the training sucks though.
