People are begging to get in to make a $70k base? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all year. “I’ll gladly take a massive pay cut just to be able to sell Vascepa!” Yeah right.
 






It depends. If you are looking to get in to pharma, this is good . If you have more than 1 year experience your goal should be to move up into specialty, account management , hospital, etc otherwise you are just complacent. Who wants complacency? The real money is elsewhere. But, this could be good for those seeking a management role too.
 






























Yup, gladly took the 70k. I now longer cover the entire state and don’t sleep in a Hilton 90% of the time, There is more to life than money. Specialty isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The more specialized you get, the bigger the territory. You’ll hopefully eventually figure that out. It comes with age.
 












The AHA, ADA, NLA etc. Have changed all their guidelines because of the results of the REDUCE-IT. They don’t do this without great cause based on fact/studies. Don’t let some bad apples out there make you question this!

Doesn’t mean anything if the FDA gives it a thumbs down. This determines insurance coverage. Not being a Debbie downer but dont drink the koolaid.
 






I was told that a hiring freeze is in place but when it is lifted, I will be hired. Is it the label change they are waiting on. What if label change does not happen? Will they still hire candidates that were promised a job?

If they don’t get the label expansion, you won’t have a job. Hence why there’s a hiring freeze. If you’d have a job regardless, they’d make the offers right now. In fact, there will probably be cuts. But I think they’ll get it. But then you have to worry about an acquisition
 


















Joe Balzer is now at the helm. Just get out now. He's horrific. Helped run Sanofi into the ground no matter which division he was in. Literally one of the worst in the industry. Too bad for Amarin.
