Why don't Job Shares get respect?

Whew, what a tough week I had. Trying to get the kids to and fro school and my manager worked with me. I dread those visits! Had to shelf kiddo duty and work. Manager gets it though, I expect to work close to home and push extra work on cluster amigos. Luckily there are soo many reps in my area I can game the system and reap the rewards. Everyone laughs at me but I do not mind. Dco in town next week and already told my boss it is my day off, now a teammate has to do it, hehe. I will never be cut cause I know people.

Indeed merck still has job sharing. In fact, there are reps (shares) married to managers. They couldn't detail a pet rock but get accolades. People are contemplating suing as this creates a bad work environment for others. I think this work arrangement has been exposed and next wave of cuts will cause problems if shares stay and others go. I do know shares work activity has been monitored for at least the last 6 mos. Unsure what HR plans to do. Thankfully there aren't too many shares in the panhandle. Yippee.

Luv this time of year, all warm n fuzzy baking cookies all week. Thought I'd check my iPad today after a week hiatus. Next week I might work a day and then I shall return in 17'. These scams, I mean jobs are great taking in 80k per year total and I figure I work 80 business days per year. Now back to my baking and wine, soo cozy and the kids and I are heading outside to string some Xmas lights with light snow falling. Can't wait to Xmas shop in my free fleet car with tree on top. Winning.
 






Job shares don't get respect because they are losers who are on the way out. They are so desperate to keep their jobs, even a POS like a job share that they will do anything to continue to be abused by mutha merck. Anyone with any self respect would have left. That is why they get no respect from their peers or physicians.

The job share fiasco comes to an end March first. The action has already been signed off!

Gender is also out the window on this topic as I have seen a male-female job share in the past, what a hot mess it was. When one share slacks it brings everyone down. Good managers have avoided legal by addressing the issue at hand and have reverted the position back to one full time. A slacking share who indeed returns full time never makes it unless they cry hard enough to get another share gig. If there are issues the resolution lands in the hands of management.
 






























hi math wiz! the gas usage is half, the pension is half based on half salary and sip, the samples are half, and the benefits cost more for anyone who is job share. two mini storage units and 70/month for cell phone? that certainly must be bringing down the ship considering their are probably about 50 job shares in the whole company. they are few and far between anyways. move on to something important, like why do we have respiratory reps when the contract sales force is selling those products? maybe that might be a better place to start cutting. or the absurd micro managing ctls who are now riding with us twice a month because they have nothing else to do.

Please don't expect reason from a handful of jackasses who long for the old days when only males called on docs.

UPDATE: this post has been awfully quiet and here's why. Two reps fired end of December for bragging about their postings, one male and yes, one FEMALE in the Philly area.
