Why are BI oncology reps paid more than the rest of the company?

It amazes me the number of people he’s thrown in front of a bus. You know what they say though...This is terrible, but whatever you do to screw someone over...It comes back not to you, but your children.

if you are bringing up needless overhead, what about that big bag of wind in Louisville, Adam Kirsch? What does he even do? He’s tried interviewing outside the company, but cannot explain his current role, and no one will hire him. Why is he still here?

he is trying to leave, but all of his buddies that have left can’t stand his stupid booting stories and don’t want to bring him on. His days are numbered here for sure. My guess is by end of summer.

My guess is because real sales jobs were lost and he continues to hang around, do nothing/produce nothing purely due to his protective relationship with DS. He’ll be gone in the next downsizing tho, can’t hide forever.

Agree with the other poster. He is harmless. Almost vanilla. What has he done to you?
 








I do think it is true that ONC reps do make a pretty good deal more than most reps.
Now, that being said they also have HORRIBLE access. No one really wants to see them, and in fact many offices are hostile to them - throw in that BI is not a top-tier player in oncology and things are even worse.. I seriously turned down the chance for a position (i was one of two considered and I dropped out) because I have it really good where I am and I would be bored out of my mind driving around and begging for a nurse to see me. True, I make a bit less, but I really do enjoy the vast majority of my customers/offices and feel like I have SOME impact.
 








i couldn’t care less about this nonsense conversation. However, with another layoff looming, I sure hope my revenue generating position is safer than his revenue depleting position.
 




whatever your motive, mission accomplished. He is aware of this thread and, as you may expect, dismisses it as nonsense. While he may be fairly useless as a person, and to the organization, he is a nice guy. I think his dad bod is kinda cute. Try to be nicer.
