Usually when growth plateaus combined with a bad news about a long awaited FDA approval it so not good news for the sales force. Basically it means layoffs are in our future. It’s the go to cut to save on expenses.
 






The plateau was in a handful of states that drove majority of historical growth, reproduceable in other states. Nothing but upside with a 5% MS in space.... so make your choice, complain on here about an unfounded downsizing or kick your territory in the ass and prove your value in the event a downsizing materializes. Refocus your effort, rants and disappointment into what u can control... your territory, your performance, your career...

The recent expansion is not a guarantee of long term employment. STOP thinking like a sales rep.

Me too injectable. Antidepressant mostly like not getting approved. 1/4 of a billion dollars down the toilet on that R&D. You’re the idiot. It’s not about you, it's about the shareholders. We are hemorrhaging cash in case you haven’t noticed.

Shareholders want a return on their investment and if that means cutting headcount in the field to boost the stock price, so be it.

Bottom line you my C list friend are expendable and Alkermes leadership knows that. Short sighted sales reps like you are a dime a dozen which is why we have no problem firing you. It’s business but then again you think it’s all about you.
