Who's the stupidest "Sales Director" at Quest Diagnostics and Why?

LP is horrible for sure but Crista Collins in Louisiana has to be one of the dumbest individuals anywhere. She destroyed NM, Ran Houston into the ground and now is in the big "Easy" which also describes her after a few drinks the desperate tramp
 












There were a lot of dumbasses running around in Dallas in February.

Now all I hear is demands for “big wins” but zero input from Sales Directors about where I should be looking for them. It’s almost like the biological didn’t bother thing unless I hit the jackpot and of course the same SD will take all the credit. Just like in real life!

Wait! Are you implying that our omnipotent sales directors don’t know our business and don’t know how to sell? No way! I’ve worked in a lot of industries and QD sometimes hires the biggest flunkies as SDs. Just look at the SD that was #1 last year. It’s common knowledge he never leaves his town, take a couple office days a week and takes off early to golf 2-3 times a week and he doesn’t visit big accounts his team has won. He doesn’t even understand the math behind profit or attainment. Don’t even me started about the East. Talk about a merry-go-round of terrible leadership, poor morale and sky-high turnover! Either senior leadership doesn’t care or wants more attrition and fewer people to pay I’m not sure which.

You're talking about Andy Herbert (Mr #1) and everyone feels the same way about him. But, this really is a great place for him. You don't need to be bright to be an SD at QD, therefore, a GREAT fit for Dandy.
 












I'm hearing all over the place these PIPs are being issued by dumb ass SDs that give no direction and can't give their people ANY ideas about where to get business? They can't even give creative ideas. It's like none of them went to business school.

Maybe they got MRS. degrees in college but that's a topic for another thread....

So, if these people are supposed to "coach" then why aren't they being evaluated too?
