I’ve worked in a lot of industries and QD sometimes hires the biggest flunkies as SDs. Just look at the SD that was #1 last year. It’s common knowledge he never leaves his town, take a couple office days a week and takes off early to golf 2-3 times a week and he doesn’t visit big accounts his team has won. He doesn’t even understand the math behind profit or attainment. Don’t even me started about the East. Talk about a merry-go-round of terrible leadership, poor morale and sky-high turnover! Either senior leadership doesn’t care or wants more attrition and fewer people to pay I’m not sure which.
