Who's leaving this sinking ship?



















...try again, Genoptix sank over a year ago. Most on board just refuse to believe it or recognize it, which is truly understandable, as they had built it. Many of the folks that built the company to what it was, did a great job; its just they were the wrong people to actually sail the ship through the storm. Inexperienced sailors and deck hands are not a good bet when storms of change arise.
 




































Genoptix is terrible company with inept leadership. There is a complete disconnect between management and the field, corporate and management, and corporate and the field. It's such a cluster f*ck.
 






Amen! Not one of the initiatives put in place by management has succeeded this year. Hey LH how's virtual flow doing? Another example of how out of touch management is.
I was waiting til November but not anymore. BTW - how are we doing with the blues contracts? Tick tock tick tock

I'm considering a position at Genoptix but reading this leaves me somewhat concerned. Why are people leaving? Are you all in sales? Are there any good managers?

The posts say it all. Average life span of Genoptix rep is 1 year. Nothing to offer, clueless and inexperienced management, unattainable goals, and toxic culture is what Genoptix is about. Don't believe me? We launch products without coverage, products that lack clinical relevance, no training, no resources etc.... Do yourself a favor and pass on this one it's not worth it. Churn and burn!

The management here is pathetic. They are extremely immature, passive aggressive automatons that have no original thoughts. Some are better than others but they are all cut from the same cloth. They are like motherless monkees with no sense of right and wrong. They will throw you under the bus without hesitation even when they are aware of situations and challenges you face. There is no open door policy here do don't make the mistake of calling your RD btw there is only one good RD here. He's on the west coast. As a matter of fact he should have LH's job. The rest of them are not qualified for the position. Until TN is gone and the management house is cleaned this place will continue to fester and fail. This company is being run by a childish cabal of self aggrandizing, soul less parrots.

This post is spot on. Management is rotten from the top down. I wish we would develop a test for Malignant Management. We have the perfect population for clinical trials. All of you in management should take a hard look at yourselves and see if you are proud of what you do. Ask yourselves if you actually bring any value to your reps. I won't say team because none of you know the first thing about building a sense of team. Admit to yourselves that all you care about is your own skin. If only you could realize you could get better results by fostering an environment of trust instead of being an insufferable brow beating tyrants.
