The entire academic institutions group, 2 RVP's, a majority of the PSD's and Sales Specialists, all new product development projects on hold to perform quality remediation work. The layoff was the action taken to fill the margin gap that remains in the second half of the year because of the dollars spent on quality remediation this year. All avoidable with the right leadership.

There is nothing quite so annoying as the arrogant 'grammatical integrity' types that seem to populate comment boards these days. Some really amazing folks are gone and punctuation errors are the best you can come up with?

So few people? Consider Smith, 20 year guy, gets cut and his salary is off the books. 10+ more in that salary range and our CEO "found" $2 million (+/-). Quarterly numbers look much better and top execs hit bonus. Bottom line if sales are flat costs must go down. This also gives them more money for Persona sets, so it's a win-win, unless you're one of the unemployed that just got bent over.

The top execs are paid on hitting this number and they can either sell more or decrease costs. You're not an idiot for missing this point, but now you know.
