Who LIKES working for HSP and WHY?

My goal for this year is to enjoy life, and work (as we all know) is a huge part of our lives. Instead of generating yet another negative CP thread about our company, let's focus on what we like about working for HSP.

I enjoy working with a team of people who truly care about one another and work together to get answers and solidify relationships that will hopefully grow the business.

Hospira you are a sinking ship. Your Customer Service is Deplorable! You deserve to go down and take the damn Symbiq with you before a patient is seriously injured. We have had it with your products, your service or I should say, lack there of....

I agree with the customer service part. I do work with some great people on my team. But we are all hancuffed by the support we get by home office in order to assist our customers. I think the Symbiq is a good pump but who wants to buy something from a company that they will not be supported when there is an issue. Plus my manager a huge pain in the ass. He thinks he is so good but all who know him think he is an ass. So you have some bad some good. Overall it is just bad.
 






Why don't you apply at Baxter ? They are launching a new state of the art line of pumps and devices by summer. If you could get hired it would be a huge step up compared to hospira BAX is trading way higher than ABT !

True but it still does not change the fact that Hospira does not support sales force and the issues we come across. It does not change the fact that we are not going to be able to compete in this market if we do not get better products. Also does not change the fact that I have an asshole manager. So even though others are going through horrible layoffs right now it does not take away my problems or the issue I deal with on a daily basis. Just wait and see Hospira will have some changes as well.

there will be a 20% layoff across board within a few months then another 10% by summer
its in the works right now start looking nowif you are smart you heard it here first

Go fuck yourself you kool aide drinking whore! That is the bullshit they are using to treat there employees like shit. All this is doing is giving a ton of companies an excuse to get rid of people that they don't need to. Guess what dip shit there are jobs out there, and I got tired of the company kiss asses like you at this company and left and got a job when most are laying off. I live on the West Coast, so I am not sure how it is anywhere else as far as job opportunities go. There is a difference between reality and negative posters, and the reality is Hospira has become a place of kiss ass micromanagement bullshit, there are very few leaders here just people who push paper the reps way so it takes that much longer for them to get there job done!

Lets see the reps have to deal with this daily:
PIC's bull shit
FDA regulations
Limited Access
Negative Media, with no company trying to change it. Meaning hire a PR company to put a positive spin on the Pharma companies.
Legislation and new Laws
HIPPA
New office rules
etc...

Feel free to add to the list of this. You wonder why people are posting negative stuff, give me a break!! You want 50% more sales out of us, and then pile on more paperwork and more regulations of things we can't do. I say this: GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!
 












I hate to interrupt your pity party, but I have one thing to ask. You are still receiving a paycheck, right? Shut your mouth and count your blessngs. I don't care if your manager makes you handwrite every word of every conversation you have and submit it daily while singing along with Britney Spears on voicecom outside in a snowstorm. There are very few open jobs in any industry right now, doesn't matter if we are talking about pharma or pipe fasteners or software, and hundreds of thousands of unemployed, educated, experienced workers trying to get them.

Oh and by the way, I am on the West coast and was #1 in my district, #2 in region, above area and nation last year. I have applied for every opening in the west and can barely get a phone interview. So if you think its so easy, why don't you give me your mgr's name and number so I can contact them and you can quit and go find your happiness elsewhere. I, for one, just want to go back to work.

However, since there are so many who would gladly take even the worst manager and products just to have any job, please try to show a little sensitivity and discretion with your comments. If you want to vent, go off on that stupid woman with 14 kids and her unethical fertility specialist.

What happened ? "Was #1 and #2" it sounds like you were fired ! Why are you looking for another position? I agree it's tough out there, but life goes on and always will. Pharma is doomed and rightfully so. I see you spend your time on this board, yeah theres real potential to land a job on the cafe. can only play out for so long.
