Wake up people! Losing Andy is going to cost us all, Doug is a yes man he is just Lars puppet.
All these people you listed out are not going any time soon. You really think because Andy is gone they will start whacking people!! No takes time lots of documentation and people complaining to HR about them! As far as Andy leaving we are screwed he wanted to create new positions to help developement and opportunities to develope managers. Now those positions are lost, the ones he created are also jeopardized as well. Educators and sales he defended and now they have no one in their corner. Doug preaches about people but yet sales is demoralized, goals are astronomical, bonuses suck, formulary is non existent, sr vp just left us but we are to be happy!

This time next year, there will be at least one fewer rep per territory in the DCS arena. The DCSA initiative will finally come into fruition, as cheaper labor will replace tenure and higher pay. The primary care market is different than 5 years ago, as access is all but gone for the majority of worthwhile high volume targets. I've heard Andy fought to prevent downsizing one too many times, so they told him to pound sand. You can bet they'll keep all the managers, even though they should be cut by at least a third. It's a real shame what the ELT has done to this place.

Agreed. Managers need to be gone as much as reps do. Just stinks that they refuse to see that!

Agreed. He was good to me and gave a $hit, cared about customers too. Always available for them. They will def notice his absence.

First part of that sentence tipped your hand. He was good to you. Lemme guess: are you a male of Mediterranean descent and live in the New Yawk/Jersey area? Sorry, COujine, but being good to select people much further down the chain is not a pre requisite for leadership in times of crisis. If he cared for his customers as you claim, we would look a lot leaner than we currently do.

He wanted to create NEW positions. In this current environment. Even though I could have benefitted, that is counter-intuitive in today's commoditized type 2 diabetes market.
