Who is in deep shit now that Andy is gone?

I actually liked Andy and wish him and his family well. But there are many who will be exposed as the crappy leaders they are now that he is not here to protect them. Who is in deep crap now that Andy is gone?

Isnt the entire sales force in trouble with the spokesperson gone? Maybe he didn't agree to a dramatic reorganization of the SF and was asked to leave.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Rep's could be in the deepest doo-doo.

Not saying this actually happened, because it's pure speculation on my part, and the vast majority of execs don't wear their heart on their sleeve for those that report to them, but Andy may have resigned because he was told there's a big layoff coming and he told DUGL that he didn't want be a part of it.

Think that's never happened before? Think again. When a former CEO of United Airlines was asked to take a failing United into bankruptcy by United's Board of Directors, he said "Not on my watch" and resigned. He resigned because he knew the Bankruptcy Court Judge would order United's pension fund to be liquidated and used to pay United's creditors. That meant all of United's retired employee's would lose their pensions forever. The new incoming CEO (Glen Tilton) agreed to take the company into bankruptcy, and United's pensioners lost their pensions.

Don't believe it? Then Google it.

If he didn't then he should be gone. Anyone with half a brain can see there are too many people out here. The sales force has been telling him this for years at his town halls.

You're a fool if you thought he had our backs for one second. The ONLY thing he cared about was how many people he had underneath him. Sure, that meant he was always eager to add more, but he would have been the first to stick the knife in your back the second it was him or you. If you think he fell on the sword for us, you are dreaming.

We are. We ALL are in deep sh*#! "New talent" is replacing Andy. Someone who has a pair of balls y'all. Don't you get it. NNI knows we can't survive as a company doing things the same way. Dougs exact words were "It's clear that our approach to the market needs to change" Heads are going to roll. Hang onto your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

People = Power
More People = More Power.
This is all you need to know to understand corporate philosophy that some ascribe to.
You will soon begin to see the fallout from this sham of a structure. Let's hope we will get back to actually selling and business instead of this crazy era of fifiedom building.

What The ELT is working on, that DUGL said in his letter will be revealed at the next national meeting, is simply a reorg. That's all they can do at their level.

After the reorg has been announced and put in place, it will be up to lower level managers to execute the "new approach to the market".

Know how they're going to execute the new approach to the market? By laying off all those reps that the bloated salesforce had been telling Andy about for all those years at town halls.

Yeah, AA and the rest of the ET are from a bygone era. Nothing new, just build up your power base which can be used to up your Title and pay package. Most of them couldn't never sell their own products nor come up with a managed care strategy in the changing healthcare world.

This time next year, there will be at least one fewer rep per territory in the DCS arena. The DCSA initiative will finally come into fruition, as cheaper labor will replace tenure and higher pay. The primary care market is different than 5 years ago, as access is all but gone for the majority of worthwhile high volume targets. I've heard Andy fought to prevent downsizing one too many times, so they told him to pound sand. You can bet they'll keep all the managers, even though they should be cut by at least a third. It's a real shame what the ELT has done to this place.

Uh-oh! Storm comin'!!! See them black clouds on the horizon?

"A new approach to marketing"... I wonder what that means??? Could you be a bit more specific Doug?

The time to really get nervous is when/if the phrase "survival of the company" starts to get thrown around by execs. That's executive speak for "We gotta pull out all the stops! And QUICK!"

I can hear them sharping the axe on the grindstone now.... Storm comin'.

"Sharping"? Wow, hopefully you don't work here.

Agreed. He was good to me and gave a $hit, cared about customers too. Always available for them. They will def notice his absence.
