Who is going to work today?

I am going to work, as usual. I have lunches and appts. the next few weeks, so I'll try to be productive as possible. Halaven is slowing down, and that is something you can have an immediate effect on. But as far as long term initiatives?? Forget it. Trying to get things on formulary? Forget it. Going to early am tumor boards, not gonna do it. You can still be effective and make some $$, but there is a limit to how much you're gonna give in this scenario.
I just want to add---to those DM's who are busting ass to get out and work with people twice a month, you look like idiots. What are you trying to prove? You are at risk at least as much, maybe more than us. You do not have enough reps to manage. Leave us alone so we can do our jobs and you can obsess about the stock market and all the money you have in the bank. Where the hell do you think I can take you every two weeks? The last minute suck-up and flurry of FCR's is embarrassing.
 









Polishing up my resume. Looking to see what jobs are out there. Taking a bit more care of myself. Trying not to be too depressed. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.

Made an early call this morning. Worked out and now perusing the Internet and headhunters for a new job. All in a days pay. I call it my six week self-imposed severance package.
 















Go to work. Not for the company, not for yourself, but for the patient. Before all of the children start calling me OB or OB deciple or whatever other names they want to attach, ask yourself this......what if it were your spouse, your parents, your best friend who could have benefited from the product.

How pissed would you be if the rep for the drug they needed abandoned ship?

Think what you want about Eisai.... think what you want about our leadership....Hell, drop a deuce in the spare tire well if you have to just to get even, but dont screw a patient because of your own spite. If Karma does exist, it will be you screwed by another rep when you need them most.

Help as many as you can......then if you have to......move on.
