I call bullsh*t on the post above. CAT had great leadership ability. She cared about her managers, reps, and customers. Not one to parrot simplistic marketing messages, she coached us to get to the "why" of physicians' decisions. I saw an arrogant trainer from corporate try to get all up in her grill at a meeting in front of her direct reports, and she swiftly, tactfully, and effectively took him down. This same trainer was promoted to DM under another RVP and was fired within 6 months for getting shitfaced at a national meeting and getting into a nasty fight, then barred from our hotel.
