Good luck with your interview, but I have to warn you that I am a veteran pharma rep an the industry is dying. Talk to any rep that's truthful and they will tell you the same thing. You would be much better off looking into equipment sales--i.e. laboratory, devices, etc. Look under boards and instead of going to company boards to see pharma cos, go to the link that says something like laboratory, etc. Believe me, if you get into pharma sales, you will acquire NO transferable skills and that will hinder you from getting another job. Outside of the pharma industry, pharma reps are seen as lazy and you don't want that reputation. Please look hard into device sales or instrumentation--you will be MUCH happier in the long run. That's not to talk of all the layoffs and buyouts/acquisitions going on right now. Plus any docs worth their weight wont see you and even the nurses look down on you these days. The industry has hired some real idiots over the years and its given the rest of us really bad reputations. Be selective. PS--go to glassdoor.com--they have info on salaries and interview questions from different companies that others have reported--maybe you'll find what you're looking for there.
