Where's Waldo, I mean Pyott?

Weak? I left, would not call that weak. Smart!

Oh, you're the poster on this thread who after years and years of consistently high performance as an eye care sales rep, you now

-own/operate your own business
-have employees
-are really successful
-have made millions

Yet you still make time to whine about how that terrible AGN lied and broke your heart.

Riiiiiight, we believe you.

Anyway, I still can't stand the whining about how "bad bad Allergan slighted me".

Things change and public corporations are about money - not people. Whatever your next endeavor, please realize the fact that public corporations are incapable of sharing your loyalty. Look out for yourself and realize: You are on your own!

Or, walk around spiteful and post weak drivel on CP like this fool.

I agree with this poster. I sometimes troll this sight just to find some witty comment or humorous analogy..and there clearly are some. I know this sight is all about whining and complaining, but,for crying out loud, put something original. All the kool-aid reference are so old and tired. I'm sorry some people have trouble adjusting to change and how organizations and the economy change...it's Darwinian. Sometimes companies change, some suck more than others and some leaders are idiots or just blindly ambitious or political...get over it. That's everywhere so pouring such senseless and emotional drivel is just boring

You have quite poor reading and comprehension skills. Not whining. Did not breaK MY HEART. FEEL SAD FOR THOSE PEOPLE who they have treated poorly, namely those with many successful years. Never said Millions.
Corporations are about profits for shareholders. They need not treat people with disrespect in the making of their profits. I am not in any way an advocate of keeping slackers on the payroll. You obviously have no knowledge of the situation I and others were speaking of. Allergan dismissed most reps with over 15 years tenure or over the age of 50, regardless of their sales rankings. They did so in quite a nasty way.

Yea, dickhead. Until it's YOU.

Yea, dickhead. Until it's YOU.

Enough of your indignant horseshit.

Yes, even nice and decent hard working people are treated poorly in these situations. Corporations will treat people as well as they are legally obliged to. Everyone will be better off in the long run if they accept that. People get fooled into this sense that the company cares about them but never forget that ultimately it is almost entirely run by the legal department.

Btw, It has be ME. (Nice dramatic caps usage moron)

I have no dog in the fight, but you don't seem like someone I would ever want to work with.

I left AGN a few years ago when it finally sunk in that it was no longer the same old company I had grown up in and loved dearly. My biggest sorrow is for the few folks still there from the good old days. The ones, like you, who are believing everything they tell you. Blindly. One day that bubble of faith will burst. Your life will change as you finally realize all the things they told you was mere poop. Stinky poop.[/QUOTE

The Eye Care division was brutal the last few years. Weird that they would drive off so many great reps. Guess in the long run they did everyone a favor. Too bad Pyott, Ingram, Gangoli and co horts are making so much money in the deal. A team of snakes.

No one wants to hear you whine and cry because you're upset Uncle AL just isn't the same anymore. This response exemplifies why you are a career salesperson and not in a leadership position. After many years in the eye care sales world (in your home, car or doctor's offices), you shouldn't be expected to understand the complexities and harsh truth of the real world.

Honestly, why did you ever think, at the end of the day, you are not just a number. Seems like your disenchantment stems from a fantasy world versus how cut throat this business can be. What makes you think that somehow AGN, as it has grown into full fledged big pharma over years, would stay the same relatively little place to work?

I know people with a similar attitude and it's very annoying. Enough of the sad-ass sales guy basically bullshitting about how how things should be run.

Last truth I will leave you with is if you do not like the status quo, work to change it or please leave because there are tens of thousands of others that will gladly take your place.

Obviously this poster is a total loser of a rep. Jealous of those who consistently perform. Probably never made more than $1,000 in bonus.
Harsh truth and realities that you can't face so you gotta blast everyone else. Dude! The only one who seems to be whining is you.

^^^ A guy with a very very small unit.

Pyott? Bottom line- he sold out. He ran the company into the ground so badly that it had to be sold off. Nothing in the pipeline that could resurrect the bottom line. Lawsuits were eating us alive. Too many dirty fingers playing bad games. R & D that sucked. When all you can do for years is buy drugs elsewhere, contract with other companies to buy/sell their drugs, and put out line extension after line extension you WILL have to close up shop. This market place cannot support companies with such high overheads and low sales.

He blabbed all over the place that mean old nasty Valeant had no R & D. Idiot. They have launched two new term drugs in the last month. They've launched a new contact lens line and have two more coming. They have ophthalmic drugs in phase 4; both glaucoma and steroids.

Pyott let his pompous ego get in the way.

Allergan's R & D was not producing and needed to be cut. If you're not producing you have no place in the business. Pyott had to point fingers elsewhere instead of taking the rightful blame himself.

Now look where we're headed.

I'm turning in my resignation on Jan 1. Glad to be out of this hell hole.

What a righteous load of bs. Allergan's pipeline was widely recognized to be producing, and that is why Pearson and Schiller were astounded when their lowball offer got bounced because the market recognized the same.

The only pipeline Valeant has is what they can afford to purchase from other companies, since they do not do R&D. And since they have epic debt, they cannot afford to buy anymore until Pearson pays down some of VRX's $16.5-Billion debt (Allergan's debt was about $1-billion, as a comparison, and easily covered by the AGN incoming revenue).

If I ever got to the point that I was jealous of someone in sales, I would commit suicide.

High overhead and low sales? Run into the ground? Not accurate.

If Pyott can be criticized, despite the 2400% stock price increase since coming in as CEO, IT WOULD BE FOR NOT LEVERAGING HIS BALANCE SHEET WITH A GOOD GROWTH COMPANY ACQUISITION.

The Scottish are notoriously frugal and love to horde money....jus sayin.

Bottom line: Any real sales talent at Allergan Eye Care left several years ago. If you are still there or were let go, you are not very good. Sorry.

You are so full of yourself. And Allergan's basket of lies. Bet you are still wearing that silly Endurance bracelet.

Time for you to contact the Valeant recruiter. I heard they are hiring talent such as yourself to dress up as their new Jublia Fightin' Fungus Guy cuddly mascot, and promote their 10%-effective-blockbuster at nursing homes and retirement villages. Good luck on your new career path.

Rather be a top ranked rep at Valeant (or anywhere) than in your shoes. You are a loser.

What? Can't take the return fire? In each of your posts you have resorted to name calling and juvenile responses.
A True Allergan Flunky.
Another one who never made that top 10% but bashes everyone who did.
Sad life.
No future.

I predict a sighting of Pyottis allerganius sometime tomorrow, although not in its natural Irvine habitat. Possibly in New Jersey, in the company of Saunders actavii -- they are said to have evolved into a mutually symbiotic relationship.

(WSJ says tonight there will probably be an announcement tomorrow from Saunders about Allergan management who will be retained for transition to the new and improved Actavis.)
