WHEN? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! SHOW ME. That's what I love about you Jerry! Say it Jerry!
im still at takeda. I'll give you advise. If you were hired in the last two years, you are way underpaid and that's why they hung on to you. 60 something thousand is a joke. They were hiring in the 80ks 3-4 years ago. If you are in the 60s, you are getting taken advantage of. Start interviewing ASAP, and bounce when you get a real offer. That's how you get raises in this industry...
Not any more! How old are you?? Way back in the day 90's, or very early 2000's when Big Pharma was still rolling - yes, you could bounce around and catch a few salary increases - even then, all the bigs capped new hires with experience at 70K! That was it, even until recently!! Anything over $75 takes special clearance, way too many reps looking for work. Trust me, I've been a DM for a long time. It ain't what it used to be! The money is drying up.
I live near DC, when are we getting our raises? Our cost of living is very high here, not expecting extra for that, just sayin. Also, I won Cresset Gold and had no idea we get extra salary % increases for that??? How much would that be? 10%?? Please Takeda, we need help!!!!!!
I think you are right with your carrot theory. And move to a cost of living area is a good move.i also live in a high cost of living territory & really need a truly big raise. Doubt I'll get it. I feel like they're trying to put a carrot out there for us with the raise announcement and bonus increase. It just feels like a cheap attempt to get those of us remaining here to not jump ship. I doubt it'll be anything more than the 2-3% norm. The whole industry is paying less now, therefore to be competitive with the industry doesn't require much unfortunately. I often dream of moving to Texas or somewhere in the south where living is cheap, I could afford to take a vacation, have a large yard, afford to retire someday..... ah to dream.
Haha no shit. No raise equals mass exodus. That's for most people. I'm staying. I'm happy with the pay..Everyone working for Takeda is in a consensual agreement involving employee and employer. If you aren't happy with your pay, and think you are worth more, why don't you leave and find another job? Complaining litterally achieves nothing, blow your bonus out of the water and you'll make more. Toughen up snowflakes!

Trust me folks, you'd be getting meaningful raises/performance bonuses if Takeda actually had new blockbuster products for you to sell, where your collective performance could actually influence the corporate bottomline by hundreds of millions of dollars in either direction. If that product ever arrives, you folks will start making money again.
