"Seemed" is the operative word! Not strong in critical thinking skills, but made up for it in his smooth talk, hand gestures, and center stage dancing. I'm certain that he felt superior to BJ, and instantly became a victim after not being chosen as SVP (the job Steve Schaefer now has), and immediately started looking.
 




BJ..nice guy, but was overmatched for the position. He finally put some effort into the last email he sent to the field, a little too late though. He has to stop with the “flawless execution” BS, try and come up with some fresh ideas pal. It’s really not too difficult.

typo...Meant to say, I'm certain he (BJ) felt superior to Steve. Bottom line, it looks clear that BJ wanted the big job, but just didn't have the talent. Steve landing this position proved to be more than BJ could handle, so he let his emotions dictate his decision to leave.
 








As a field rep out here, he always sounded phony from day 1, basically just a mouthpiece for senior leadership. Doubt he was ever taken serious by the higher ups, just mho. Charisma can only get you so far.
 








who cares where an overpaid exec goes? I'm more worried about my peers and myself. Personally, I've talked to him a few times and he always came across as a guy trying to sell me a damaged car. There was something disingenuous and shady about him, but that was his shtick and it worked for him...

I think y'all are being harsh on Jones. He served our country in the military, is a Stanford MBA grad, and from what I could tell a oerfecper good sales leader. He was with Takeda for three years and had already been named as someone who would bee retained after the merger. He probably just decided to get a better job making 10 times what we make.

My manager wants to have a conference call tomorrow so we can discuss his departure. What the hell for??? What a waste of time and yet another small reason I can't stand my manager.

Heard BJ had his feelers out with a few select female reps/managers, kept them on speed dial, and was out in the field riding (grooming them) along with them on occasion. He was making quite a name for himself in the area of talent development! Well done BJ, Bravo...!!!!
 




The Tom and BJ facts. HR caught Tom before BJ. BJ slowed down a bit after Tom was caught treateing the female reps like his own candy store. Each had their favs in each region. No #metoo here. Everything was mutual until husbands started calling. We all know the ones in our region.

Nope, try again! If that was really a problem, he never would have taken the job to begin with. No question one if not both of these dudes were shown the door. Rumors were flying EVERYWHERE, especially about BJ.
