When will the home office get it???

The management in France has already started looking at changing a great deal of what is going wrong in the home office. Too many reports of laziness, incompetence, and mismanagement from the United States have made there way to France. Big changes coming soon.

I wish that were true. I've been here too long to believe it.

The United States management has never lost this much money before. Over spending on Old Novartis salaries, loss of market share to competition, coming in drastically short on sales projections, and numberous other things.
What else can France do? The home office let it slide one year, but they will not let it slide a second year.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I find it funny how this whole board is all sales people and the manufacturing site is suffering the same issues with HQ. They really need to come up there and kick the VPs in the ass and clean up the mess. Granted, the site has come a long way since last year, but there is still so much more to do. The old timers are scared to death of change, while the new people are being beat down for having fresh ideas.

The turnover rate is finally starting to catch some attention. When you have people leaving within a month or two of being hired, you know something is not right.

The company mission is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen come out of a pharma company. Basically, we'll do they bare minimum level of quality. That's why batch after batch is rejected or reworked and why no one in manufacturing can manage to produce one single lot without serious issues. Tell people to get with the program or get gone, and put some leadership in there with less of a God complex.

PHays was called to France to answer some big questions about large expenses and declining sales. The US division is severely missing its sales budget. He has been given a deadline to either raise sales or cut costs. The cuts will start with field sales expenses, and will continue to field sales personel.

When they run out of snails and wine, I mean profit, from the US, they'll hop on a plane and check it out. Till then don't hold your breath for any real change.[/QUOTE]

Let's see, how about
Being mislead to when products will be back, there by misleading the vet customers.

Being told to sell promotions when there is no product for that promotion available

Being with a company for over 16 years, but still being paid less than the Legacy NAH reps that were brought over.

Asking the distrbutors that I have worked with for over 16 years years to keep supporting me a only to have them say they can not in good conscious do that for themselves and the vets they call on.

To name a few.

Sad little company. Hard to attract quality people with such a negative reputation. Second rate talent in critical positions. But our exec's are impressed with themselves. I understand that they rarely show up at the office. Great example to set.

And yet Carol BM watches everyone like a hawk. If SHE doesn't like the schedule they are working she makes sure to put those people on her 'list' and secretly pressure their managers while sabataging them as much as possible.

After reading the FDA letter, you think they'd be more concerned with their major, major, major issues and the complete collapse of Virbac in the US.

Yeah - it's amazing how much she looks down on and despises the employees. She looks for reasons to have to go after employees - usually hiding behind her patsies to keep her hands clean - just to justify her existence and to make her feel better about herself. She really believes Virbac employees are peons that require her constant vigilance otherwise all chaos would ensue. Funny thing is senior management has done more to bring the end of Virbac near than any of the regular employees.

Virbac has been relegated to a company with no products to sell and no credibility or goodwill in the vet market. They are the laughing stock of the industry, and so is their management. How can they go on like that without having any unique and great products (that are not recalled)?

Paul will let us know tomorrow.
