When will Novartis ever learn?

as for as the post above saying there are no cardiology advocates...are you really working here at Novartis (?) because the majority folks rxing this drug are cardiologists! Did you not see the Alisha slide during the recent town hall meeting showing over 2,000 cards rxing nationwide vs 500 PCP's? Get out of your bubble...There is card advocacy, this is a great drug, the issue is cost to seniors, many patients are in the donut hole right now, this latter half of the year will be the most difficult time to get new rxes, and this is why there are so many contests for new rxes, just stay focused w the folks you can see...we're all in this together

Didn't say cards aren't advocating for this drug. In my area, our speakers are only writing maybe 5 a week. Novartis has done this to the PDI reps. Making us stick to 7.5 calls a day. Some reps ARE doing the 7.5 calls because that is what we signed up for. Are those quality calls? Probably not. So please don't blame the PDI reps. It's coming from the top down. I'm addressing the donut hole. 30 day free supply and 1 month of samples. That will get them thru til January 1. I'm not in a bubble. I'm working my butt off to get nowhere.

3 or 4 out of 10 Cards in a territory writing is not advocacy. Something is not adding up w/ this drug. Good drug on paper but very little if any sales at 17 months out. At this point 100% of the Cards should be endorsing patients for each PCP. Adoption should not be at a crazy pace but the current pace is not justifiable by any of the presentations that are shown. Especially w/ the guidelines being update back in April. So why is it that 100% of the Cards and Hospitalists are not discharging patients on entresto? The PCP's are not writing it because a majority of local Cards. are not endorsing it. Donut hole is an issue but not a main issue here. Something is not adding up here.

In a normal senario 33% of the MDs get it and write (call on them), 33% of the MDs will listen and maybe write (call on them too.) and 33% of the MDs will never write and you don't even worry about (don't call on them). Unfortunately in this case 3% of the MDs write, 30% of the MDs might listen and 66% don't want anything to do w it. This case is not normal at 17 months out.

You are right it is a crap gig, it's actually the worst one we have ever been part of. The turn over is high. A lot of us are just waiting to see what the bonus might bring in January. If it's insulting like everything else has been watch the flood gates open. A lot of us have felt compelled to stay at least until the end of the year because of the excessive training that NVS put us through. We needed to at least collect a few checks and recoup a little bit of lost time and money. How do you Novartians put up w/ your company? Good God Management is a bunch of Robots. Fire drills weekly...

Yes you guys are being treated poorly, most of us feel bad for you. It's not right and I hope you get a decent bonus. I don't think it is quite as bad for us as it is for you but we put up with it because it's a good paycheck. It's complacency.

Thank you, usually we are happy w/ contract. Our last contract was a dream so we took it for granted that PDI, Publicis would take care of us. PDI sold us out and NVS is taking advantage of us at the same time. Expect very high turnover after January.
