When is Onyx Getting Bought?

Ha ha. Not sure who came back with that snappy response, but is that all ya got? Careful, because this isn't a laughing matter and there's a lot of people here who have a whole cr-p load of DIRTY LAUNDRY that should be aired. And it probably will be. Time to get out the Tide.
 






Seems like everyone on the KI side are playing victim? Poor babies, if you are not happy leave and let the motivated sales reps who are happy to be here do their jobs. Bunch of cry babies with some crazy entitlement. You are the same ones who voted for Obama that want everything free instead of working for it. If you spent half as much time selling instead of complaining, maybe you could make some money too and maybe even affect the stock price. Quit whining and sell, or get out and find something that will make you happy!! Angry trolls on the KI side and haters are confused admirers!!

Nope- I voted Romney. Money- loving, white Capitalist to the core. I just also happen to believe in EQUALITY..... and if Romney had a clue and knew that women, gays, and non-whites vote too, we'd have a freaking Republican in office right now. I don't believe in entitlement and equality for people who are lazy and want hand outs. But people doing the same job with the same company--and PERFORMING EQUALLY-- should be paid equally. Obama would applaud the set up at Onyx: KI side works hard and makes the money with Nexavar for 6 years and then the wealth is redistributed to the PI side!

By the way, there is only like 30 of you and maybe half are female and I am sure they know who is complaining. Nice work genius, now all the females will look like complainers because of you. I suprised you haven't brought up slavery or the injustice to the indians too!! Damn troll!!
 



Had we ALL known we would be paid a base of $150-$160K on the kyp side, we would have put our name in the hat, I'm sure! But unfortunately with the Bayer contract, only 10% of us were allowed to make the switch. Trust me, we all wanted to sell Kyp. We were also all promised by Onyx that they would treat the two sales forces completely equally with regards to bonuses too. You guys cried a river over mileage reimbursement. We have a MUCH BIGGER beef. Get over yourself. If I was on your side I'd feel bad for my colleagues and would want them to be paid equally. Instead, you sit there and gloat. The only hating that is going on is from PI side. I have nothing against my PI counterparts....
 



PS: if we are lucky enough to have Bayer buy us, the PI side will be the new Bayer Biotches, and the KI side will hopefully have a nice chunk of change to take a break. That is of course if Bayer doesn't lay you off.

The women need to unite. Bet they are getting paid less then the men too for doing the same job. Its obvious at this point that none of us are getting promoted. Won't stop until somebody calls it.
 



Oh great!! More angry women!! Screwed up our election, now trying to screw our jobs up too!! What happens around menopause to cause all these women to be angry and vindictive? We don't need any more angry women, most of us have this already at home!! If they doubled your salary, you still would find something to complain about? Can't win with angry chicks!!
 



Not angry, just want some equality-- not sure why you think that corresponds to anger. All we know is that there have been a couple of pretty "sketch" promotions of men this past year--not based on qualifications. You know who you are. And PS knows why one of them was promoted! If Onyx is smart, they'll give the KI side a big jump in base salary and promote a woman out in the field.... Then all of these skeletons will stay in the closet.... Otherwise, you never know when everything will come to light.
 



OMG!! All I can say is I feel sorry for this lady's husband. I am a female with ONYX and this is the best place in the world. I came for big pharma and I would do this job with half the salary due to the culture and the wonderful people here. On the KI side too and only wish great things for everyone involved in the company. We are in a great place, at a great company, with great people and everyone is treated better than I have ever seen. This person must be disgruntled or something, because this is not the sentiment with any females I know in this company. Many high level females and reps in this company and I am proud to be here. I absolutely love this company, my job, leadership and culture. Just my 2 cents anyway? Back to work for me!!

You haven't surveyed enough reps on the KI side-- men or women-- if you think the sentiment out here in the field is anything but FED UP! If our options hit, the mass exodus will do the talking.
 









Typical Onyx response! Hate the person making reasonable suggestions (equality in the workforce- pay and diversity) instead of taking constructive criticism to heart. While Cafepharma might not be the ideal place to offer suggestions to improve morale, it seems to have worked for the PI side-- enough people complained about the new car/mileage plan that they affected change. I agree with the poster that we should be paid equally, and yeah, it would be appropriate to promote a woman out in the field (and I'm a guy)... Both these things would improve morale and diversity. Maybe the poster is just hoping her suggestions fall on a set of ears that care.
 






Who cares about any of this? When is Onyx getting bought? Or at the very least, when can we expect the stock to get back into the mid 80s? Any advice? Sell before or after the end of the year?
 






What data are we expecting at ASH that the street doesn't know about already? I'd love to wait until after Q4 earnings call to sell, but our capital gains taxes could be 15% higher by then, correct?
