You will soon hear horrible news at the district meetings. The news isn't good at all and will make everyone in sales extremely upset. This is no joke or BS. Nothing that can be discussed right now, but it is bad. Very very bad.

It has nothing to do with losing a job or the bonus plan. It's worse.
 






















































Well they must be desperate to ram this shit down out throats! This is supposed to be the answer when pharmacy has an issue with price? Didn't we have the BIM at our disposal before? Every company has one of these things. They all are the same! Use our drug and we can save you millions! Bull Shit! I'm sure they will track how many of these presentations we make and hold us accountable if pharmacy still doesn't buy! Give us names of hospitals that have done something based on a BIM and saved all this money! At least we can talk about that. There should be one by now! What a joke! This is more like big pharma every day !!

Agreed. This is why everyone will be very upset about the price adjustment and once again will fall back on us and we will be the ones that get the wrath from everyone. I'm pleading with everyone to begin to at least starting a new job search. You will be extremely upset with the news and this is only the beginning. Mallincrodt is not a good company to work for.

It is Mallinckrodts decision. The hike is going to be enough that everyone will desperately want to quit. As you just mentioned all bad news falls back on us. We are the ones that look like idiots. We are already hated by pharmacy and the physicians will feel like we have failed them. In the accounts that still are not on formulary, this will be the nail in the coffin that will insure that will never happen. It all comes down to Big Pharma and greed. They have no idea what the market and challenges are like and make these horrible decisions. In the end the reps are the ones that will have egg on their faces and look like complete idiots. The BIM will do nothing that we haven't already been doing. All of us discuss potential savings to everyone we encounter everyday. The reason we finally have the BIM is we now have the horrible task of justifying this price jump. The time is a smart one to get out now for more than one reason. But two important reasons are no one wants to be a part of Big Pharma and the second big reason is that this is already tarnishing our individual reputations. In some instances many reps no longer want to stay as hospital reps because the whole situation has ruined any relationships we ever had with pharmacy. By raising the price, it will give Mallinckrodts higher margins, but they will lose a lot more in the end. But the big executives behind the desks know everything, don't they?
 






You must have a cool manager who is giving you a heads up. My manager is probably trying to figure out how to put a positive spin on this by next weeks meeting!! I wish I knew who you were to thank you for spreading the truth! If you ever become a manager I will work for you!! I agree with everything you have said. Even more of a kick in the nuts is if after the price increase they don't pay us more than 20 cents! I will never get it on formulary on any hospital that doesn't have it after this!!! So I won't grow my business so I won't make bonus!! What a hunk of shit!!!!!
