Hearing mixed things about iPhones...yes, no, maybe so?

Please don't give us iPhone's! We won't ever use them and will all have to keep our own cell phones and pay for it ourselves. It will be a huge waste of money because nobody wants all of their personal emails, web searches, phone calls, texts, etc monitored.

As long as we can turn off the location services. That would be so embarrassing if my manager knew I was a frequent customer at the hello kitty rub and tug massage parlor. I take it we won't be getting reimbursed for our cellphone. Will anyone actually use shires iPhone as their primary cell phone? iPads make sense... iPhone's seem pointless.
 






I came from a company that supplied a cell phone. Not a single rep (to my knowlege) use the supplied phone. Every rep use their personal phone and attached the personal cell phone number to their business cards. The bottom line, it was a wasted effort on the company's part and more expense on the field.
 






Talk about Phone use --- Who actually talks to doctors/accounts on the phone...Lets get real, we aren't really prospecting and calling around to find more business...so no phone neccessary.
 






Why survey us if you were going to give us iphones all along. By the way, I have an ipod touch for sale.... with a presentation and all (not mlr approved).... I'm sure you think you are saving money but after all the hardware is purchased and you realize half the sales force has tucked away their new corporate iphones right next to their old company ipod touches and the other half keeps breaking their iphones because they are "clumsy" than the cost really balances out. Really think this one through, because it's going to irritate your majority for what?..... Pocket change at the end of the day.
 






Iphones are a waste of money for the company. It should be an option for the people that don't currently already have one. Otherwise, most won't use them and will still carry around a personal Iphone and use it out of just convenience. Who wants to walk around with 2 phones all day when we can't even use either while driving (which entails most of our day) anyways. I phones means we have just lost another benefit. Ipads, I understand...Iphones save the money.
 






Iphones and iPads are going to be the beginning of Shire tracking reps. Vis aids on the iPad, no downloading of apps. Time stamping your calls based on gps. Get ready to work your balls off or get busted sitting at home faking your calls.

Most are already working our balls off. No one who actually wants to make a lot of money in bonus is sitting at home faking calls.
